Balto's Dad:Who is he?!
A brief article on Balto's possible parents
Aniu08 : Okay ya'll.Many people have been wondering about Balto's parentage.We know Aniu is his mother.I want to add Nava to the possibility.Nava looks astonishingly simialar to him if you just look closely.The fur is the same except Balto's is darker.Their overall sature and eyes are the same too.Plus Aniu only appears to Nava and Balto.I know you're thinking 'But Balto is half dog'.Well Aniu is sort of a deity.She could use her immortal powers to bind Nava in wolf form when he's actually a dog just like Aniu changes into a raven.Aniu could have given him some powers himself.Remember,when Niju tries to attack him he dissapears into the tree and when he dissapears the same white mist appears when Aniu comes around.Nava knew they were coming.When Aniu tells Nava the leader is the one who is wolf and does not know he thinks it's their son.But Nava tried not to arouse Balto's suspicion of him because maybe Balto will be mad at him and not understand.After all Balto was an orphan.Do you find this likely everybody?

I don't think Balto wouldn't understand... regarding Nava looking like
Balto, that could just be it, similarities in looks, when it's a film
it's hard to tell whether it's just the animators trying to make
everyone look similar so we all know what breed/species the are. I
mean, Nava looks like Steele, probably because the animators were
trying to show that he was evil, by having muscles, dark fur and an
almost permanent glare. |

I agree with Balto122 when I say that they may have just been
siblings. I mean, the dude's old enough, and since she's suppose to be
dead, maybe she died of old age, or maybe Nava was an older brother.
Whatever the case is, I believe that Balto was right when he said that
his father was a husky. |

I dont think it make mutch sense My personal opinion is that Nava is
Aniu's brother cause well it sounds most likely would Aniu really show
herself as a spirit to a stranger? I dont think soo or maybe the movie
makers diden't really think it all through I dont know It will remain a unknow........ |

It makes sense I guess. But Balto could probably not get any of his colors from Nava. Yeah they have the same facialness or whatever but I don't think Aniu's powers are that awesome. That would be cool though. It is possible that Nava is related to Balto, maybe his uncle or something, but not his dad. |

Nava's too old and anyways, what happened at the last part of the movie when he says, "Goodbye, my brother?" I mean, I know that this doesn't necessarily mean that they're actually BROTHERS, but what kind of father says that to his son? |
