YAY STAR AND BALTO!

i agree that star likes balto because of the part at the end where he
yanks the harness out of steele's mouth and gives it to balto. Like
what Iditard said. and good aricle!!

I think that Star likes Balto.. But.. Steele is like a chef for the
trio and.. Make the rules.. So, Star, Kaltag, Nikki needs to fallow by
the rules..

You have a point. Did any of you see the article with the screen shot
in which Star yanks Steele's collar away from him and hands it to
Balto at the end? Obviously, this never happened, but the animators
were thinking. other than that, all I can say is, that's Star for
you...

Star is smiling and laughing but when Steele howls Star immediately
cows down and by the look on his face it seems he just got frightened
by Steele's unexpected mock howl more than anything else, as after the
initial shock he promptly joins in on the mock howling

but those points aside I think that out of the trio Star is the most sympathetic to Balto's case, most likely cause Star is probably the omega (in dog terms) of the group

yeah that's correct here are more examples when steele threw balto
near a rock star looked sad and he said"look" and when balto won the
fight he held up the front thing you go in the sled an he looked
happily and he said "way to go balto"near the end

good point but if he truly likes balto we all might of seen Star
standing up for balto cuz Star seems to stand up to steele then backs
down. He would of stood up for Balto plus Nikki and Kaltag are all a
liltle hesitant around steele because if you compare hights all them
are only around Baltos size whos about half of steeles size if Steele
realy wanted to he could beat every one of them up cuz he so big
and he gives me the chills but hes cool

I can agree with this!

I think the fact that Star was not howling with the rest was because
of Steele's intimidating behavior. Star looks like he's afraid of
Steele's sudden actions and howling, but quickly gets over it and
joins in. I think that scene truthfully has nothing to do with the
overall movie and plot, like the "unknown dog", but was just a minor
animated scene. I wouldn't really call it a flaw... but the animators
must have wanted to give Star the "nervous" or "anxious" dog look; the
weakest dog of the group; the one who stays quiet and keeps to
himself.

As for liking Balto? Why would he join in with
Steele and laugh at him, and then proceed to howl if he truely did
like Balto? I think he might have just respected him, especially after
he pwned Steele. XD
