Personality: humorous, energetic, cheerful and he will support wolves or dogs who he likes. He can become very jocular at times, but still has a protective nature when it's roused. He is cocky around wolves/dogs older than himself and dislikes Zekile, a wolf who is easily annoyed by Koltav's jokey behaviour.

History: Koltav joined Alue's pack after escaping from his birthplace, a dog breeding centre in the coastal town of Solomon, Alaska. In the pack he got the job of a sort of a scout, who checks and reports to his leader the goings-on of the territory. He is a close friend of Orab, Alue's mate.
