Balto met this vixen when he follows the raven. She says she is caught in a trap and she will help Balto to find Aleu if he helps her. But when she is released, she tricks Balto, making him fall into the river.

Vixen this might be one of the illusions of Aniu to put Balto on the right path, but unlike all other totems, she has normal colors and a real look. Therefore it's not clear whether the Fox is another materialisation or Aniu or not.
