That's right, there is a HD version of Balto out there, just this one is in Russian. (Not official) It isn't true HD, but this version doesn't have the DVD artifacts. (Pixels around the edges)
Anywho, Steet posted this discovery here. I thought this was pretty cool myself, so I hopped right into downloading these to take screenshots. But unfortunately I have bad news as well. I wasn't able to download all the files in time before they were deleted from the server they were on. There is a second server, and the files are there, but they don't seem to work. I got most of the movie, but this means I will have to go back and take screenshots from my DVD rip.
Note: I realize that some of the screenshots are out of order. I don't know what that the deal is. Site can't count. lol

It is upscaled image from the DVD and they didn't even make attempt to
encode it right, just threw it on the internet to make some money..
The picture should be cleaner, brighter and all the video noise
gone. pp.: Also 1080p >1080i, progressive scan is way better |

Wait how would this be possible? i mean sure its possible but you
would need a copy from the Studio, not a DVD Copy... But seeing Balto
1 2 & 3 in Bluray would be magical :D also i remember the forum topic about it, hmm i wonder why russian? But anyway it could have been someone who helped universal with russian Balto and leaked a HD Copy out to the public before it got deleted but, i hope to see Balto on bluray in the future  |
