Explanation: We have Halloween and winter holiday banners, but not a Valentines Day banner. This contest is to make the best Valentines Day banner featuring our favorite Balto movie couples!

What I'm Looking For: Good composition, only official characters from the movie, and no "crack" pairs for example, Stella kissing Balto. You can have family themed love, (like Balto hugging Kodi as a form of expression family love)

Rules: No stealing. It's very obvious, but it always has to be said. No fan characters are allowed, since (if moderators allow it) the banner could be put up in February. Please do not make "crack" pairings, or couples that aren't realistic in the movie (like I said above, Stella with Balto is not reasonable.) Let's stick with the traditional and official pairings, such as Balto with Jenna, and Boris with Stella, etc. Many submissions are allowed from the same user, but please keep the limit to about three, okay? And lastly, nothing sexually graphic. I know it's a love theme, but let's keep it PG.

Prizes:
I am offering one full drawing and a full "render" or image to the first place winner, and your banner will be featured on the site for Valentines Day. Troll Berserker has offered to make a graphic (signature/avatar/banner) for the winner with their favorite Balto couple (doesn't have to be an official couple). Trancy. has offered to make a render of any canine character couple of their choice; official or OC.

Second place will win a drawing or image from me of one character (their choice). Exile has offered to make a one character (official or OC) render as well.

Third place will earn two character icons from me (either drawn or rendered, it is the winner's choice; along with a personal blank render request from me.

If anyone would like to donate a prize, please message me, I'd be more than happy to have more prizes for the contestants.

This contest is set to end on February 13, 2014, however the date may be pushed earlier. All entries must be entered and judged either on or before that day to give the site builders time to update the banner.

Juuchan, that is acceptable and is probably more into the spirit of the holiday. I will edit the contest to make a note of that so everyone knows that there is a family-love theme. I just didn't want someone to do a whole romantic KodixAleu or other strange pairings.

Question: Does it have to be a couple in the banner? I understand that the focus is on Valentine's Day, and usually that means "love is in the air" and focuses on romantic couplings and shippings, but can we focus on other types of love - like the love between family and friends and that sort of thing - instead? I had an idea for something, but it would be more like that. I didn't see any rules on those sorts of things, but I noticed all the focus being on couples. Just wondering - thanks! - Juuchan17
