How are fan characters organised?

I Have quite a few fan characters and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how they're organised:

I've looked at my fan characters and know it's not by:

not alphabetically,

by time created,

or by type

 

How are they organised?

steetThey were ordered by creation date (mostly)
But I have ordered them by alphabetic order now. Seems more logical.

Fan characters are probably organized by the person, or people who drew them.
