Personality: Croatoan’s selfless and faithful ways land him a special place in other deer’s hearts. He loves danger and will run into a sticky situation in a heartbeat. Although he is usually calm and collected, in some situations Croatoan can become extremely bossy and arrogant, but with the best intentions, even if it doesn’t seem like it. He’s not exactly the flirtatious type, but given the chance the buck will use his charms to win a pretty doe over; being the right hind that is. He thinks of himself as the epitome of heroism and self-honor, which makes him somewhat hypocritical due to his dislike of self-centered bucks.

History: Croatoan was born to a mother whom he never quite cared for, since she seemed to strangle him with protection and rules. Being a free and brave spirited fawn, Croatoan decided to one day travel outside of Valienten’s forest to a nearby river in which he crossed paths with an enraged fox. This being his first fight, the little deer had no clue how to successfully win the battle. He was able to get back to his mother after –what seemed like a lifetime- of running and hiding, escaping with a mere gash through the middle of his right ear. After his tragic accident, Croatoan was able to come across a few loyal friends; Starlight and Baldrian.

As time passed, Croatoan grew into a healthy and well-muscled buck, ready to take on any buck during the rutting season with his powerful eight-point antlers, which was impressive for his first year. Does seemed to find him attractive and followed him like toy soldiers, the tawny buck paying to mind to them; for none of the hinds were for him.

Soon Croatoan’s all-around trustworthy personality became to twist, the buck sometimes snapping and going all-out arrogant, taking on any buck in his eyesight for a nearby doe. Some call him bipolar or schizophrenic, but truthfully his emotions unfortunately get the better of him. He continues to live an ordinary like within the herd, praying that Valienten’s horrific sickness will get better.
