Personality:
Taner is living with the fear of being rejected, he doesn't want to be left alone and has the urge to be loved, expecially from his mother; he always tries to be noticed by his parents and tries to show them how strong and intelligent he is, so, that he can be a good future leader for the herd but, always without success; he is very jelous toward his sister, he really doesn't understand why she has to be the future leader while he is kept apart, isolated, like if he wasn't part of the family; he tries to be a bully but he is not able to hurt anyone.

History:
Taner was born for first, Taifa and Caius tried to have female, which would become Indigo's future mate and female leader of the herd but, the couple had a male fawn. Disappointed, Taifa rejected that son and continued to train Indigo instead of him. Taner survived only thanks to his father, who wanted himself a female too but didn't want to see his only son dying and so, he gave him to the care of another cow of the herd who had a calf not long ago but that died. The young calf spent most of his time alone, with his father speaking to him from time to time, bullyed by Indigo, too afraid to tell those abuses to someone. He spent his time wandering around the herd, observing and listening; there was another calf, well, of course, one year older than him, which was actually his cousin, Tuktu. Taner had heard from his mother that Tuktu was a bad calf, an obstacle, a weight that she had to carry around so, he never tried to approach him. Infact, it was the older cousin who made the first move. Tuktu felt pityful, his cousin was having the same treatment from Taifa hat he had and didn't want the young caribou to suffer. Taner didn't want to listen at Tuktu at first, still 'contamined' by his mother thoughts but then, he found out that his cousin wasn't that bad and befrended him. He was smiling again after long. But then, things changed. His parents had another calf, a female. Taner was almost forgotten by his family because of this new and beloved birth and neither his cousin was able to cheer him up. Taner often wondered why he was having such a hard life but was never able to find the answer. His mother looked happy but when he tried to approach her, she would always send him away in a brutal way. He wasn't there when a new calf, around his age was introduced to the herd, a female that had just saved Celeste's life from a poisonus snake. It was his father who wanted her to join, since she had nowhere to go, as a thank for her action. The calf was named Kapik and she seemed interested in finding out why Taner was so lonely and depressed. Tuktu, Tupilek and his other friends from the herd told her his story and she slowly began to talk to him, making him break the wall that he had mentally built between himself and the rest of the world. Seeing some pure friendship toward him from Kapik made him feel better and he started to join his cousin, Tupilek and the two brothers Punuk and Saitou. 

Relation to Bambi:
lives in the forest, his mother wants to kill the Great Prince to take over the forest, his sister's future mate is Ronno's cousin.
