Personal

Personality: Vulcan is a bitter, impatient and complex young stag. More than anything, he wanted Adanious's love and to prove that he was worth something since he remembered the day his own parents abandoned him and his sister, Derricka. He believes that one becomes strong by struggling and fighting for what they want. However, he expressed contradicting mindsets; he did not want good luck because he felt he could control his fate, but also believed he was marked unlucky and that the world was against him. He is clever, yet hot-headed, often letting his temper get the best of him. He rarely thinks his situation through, often getting himself in trouble. Said traits were criticized by his adoptive father, urging Vulcan to try to control himself and think things through more often. Despite the side that's known the most, the dark stag does in fact show a complete change in personality. Vulcan shows compassion to those close to him and often thinks that family comes first. Even after all the hardship he suffered at the hands of his sister, he is still willing to vouch for her, giving her several chances for them to work together.

History:
Vulcan was born to an unknown stag who's soul was as dark as the night. The doe didn't play a big role in his life either. However, he remembered opening his eyes and seeing how astounded and happy his mother was when he and his sister were born. His father however, standing beside, showed no emotion and lacked the happiness from within. The fawns, Vulcan and Derricka, didn't look anything like him which angered him deeply. He wanted to kill them and rid their existence from the world as he suspected the mother to have mated with another stag which was forbidden. The doe gave him a recommendation and asked if he would spare the helpless newborns. Then when he refused, she convinced him to be a little less cruel and simply banish them.. and so he did. Luckily, a shed of light entered the lives of the fawns. Adanious, a fully grown stag who mostly spent his time on the outskirts of the forest, found them. He was well known for his rude character, but being in the Silver Herd luckily redeemed himself a bit. Adan took them in and decided to treat them as his own, loving them bit by bit.

Vulcan was lucky he was found by someone. If not, he wouldn't have grown into a strong and determined buck, but he was still an adolescent and often made his own mistakes. Upon hitting the 6th month of his age, he and his sister jumped around, also exploring the forest they grew up in. One day, they made a mistake their adoptive father once made as well. They entered man's camp, however only by curiosity. Vulcan was certain this was a terrible idea, but Derricka, being confident and determined as ever, she wanted to see more. Man attempted to scare them away with fire, but in his first attempt, nothing worked. He could've shot them, but he was finished with his hunting trip and was ready to pack his things. Vulcan fiddled with a few things that belonged to the man which angered him a lot. He took a log from a bonfire which was burning intensely and threw it at Vulcan's face. Since it was extremely hot at the time, the burn was stinging greatly and eventually left a mark on the buck's right sided face. Scared, both fled the scene and returned back to Adan who eventually brought the fawns back to the herd to ask for aid.

The fire certainly left a big mark on the buck's face and it refused to leave. It was now a huge scar for everyone to see. At first he was ashamed of it and everytime he looked into his reflection in the water, he was reminded of how foolish he was back in the day. The thing he was angry about the most was Derricka's sadistic behavior when he got burned. She laughed at him and made jokes of the day the accident happened. At this age, he is still in Bambi's forest, often trying to impress Adan, but now his main goal is to prove his worth to the Silver Herd's leader and gain his honor. He even went into the meadow and socialized with a few bucks and does, even meeting Geno and Gurri. He is easily recognized by the burn mark on his face and the pointy, dark antlers.

Surpisingly, up to this day, the buck is determined on finding his biological parents despite the fact that he and his sister were turned down by them.
