Well guys, I am wondering this a whole time ago, so I'm holding this short. Is Aleu a teenager or not?

Yes,I guess someone could say that Aleu is a teenager.

I think so - she has that 'teen look' and smile about her. However, her voice says differently.

Whell guys, the point of this thread is actually that (why I tell this is the reason why I wrote this so rapedtly) some guys on this forum started the thread why Aleu called Balto 'papa'. My theory is that some teenagers called their fathers like that. So thats the reason why I started this thread,

I'd say she's a teenager. She sounds like one. Plus if she's still telling her dad that she could take care of herself in the second movie, she would probably be 2 1/2 or so.

That's what he said in the movie (even tho TECHNICALLY only a month passed, but we'll spare those details) and since canines supposedly grow 7 times faster than humans, she'd technically be about 7 dog-years of age. Seems a pretty suitable age, judging by her dramatic and immature and selfish attitude in the movie (although, many teenagers are the same way) however, people don't pay attention to that fact and oddly make them appear older than they really are. Which I think is stupid, because it often confuses people (particularly kids) and this topic is proof right there.

(Another situation is in the Ginga Derfjbefdfs Weed cartoon, the main character wasn't even a year old and he was leading a pack made up of hundreds of other, OLDER canines. I MAY let that one slide tho, because it was probably influenced by the adults and therefore thought more like one. I still think its weird, even for a cartoon.)

In the movie, she was supposed to be shown as a young teenager, but whether she was a young teenager, teenager, or a child, she's still too young to run a pack XD But they did it anyway. So as far as I'm concerned, she's any age you want her to be LOL

Cat's pointed out a lot of things I was going to say (I knew she'd pop up here one time or another) but also she's a teenager but she doesn't seem mature yet. Some people just mature earlier or later I guess (apparently I already have extremely early XD) but Universal tries to portray her as something like... 18 human years? 18 would still be too young to lead a wolf pack. So yeah, she is a teen, but maybe not mature yet.

yeah,around the age of one a dog is still a teen. shes so argumenative with balto, which is another clue.

I think Aleu is a teenager because when Balto still called her a baby, she insisted she wasn't baby anymore, and that prove enough for me.

in the film boris says 'at more than 1 year old' about aleu so in human years i'd say shes 7or 8 meaning shes a pup to us but probaly shes a teen in the film

yep thats my guess i mean by 1 year dogs r really mature in comparison with kids thats 7 years old.

Aleu is an adult. At one, wolves and dogs are adults. Even though she acts like a teenager, shes not.
