Boom Studios New York Comic Con panel just ended.

No new titles have been announced, although they said a few things :

"With the success of Darkwing, they want to take things a step at a time and do things as great as they can be, and not stretch people's budgets too thin "

Someone at the panel asked about Talespin, they answered "Cannot confirm or deny Talespin but very interested in building on Disney afternoon properties" I'm so glad someone asked! (that goes to the bad tongues who implied there weren't enough people interested...in fact it seems it's ALWAYS the one people mention to Boom!)

Seems like they will release a new series every 6 months or so. Well it's both disappointing that we will have to wait that long (AT LEAST...), but reassuring that they want to bring more and with the best quality. But, what if Rescue Rangers don't sell as expected? I don't like being taken "hostage" like that, just so we can have the SLIGHTEST hope it could happen...

About the Boom Studios 2.0, that's a bunch of things :

"There will be a series of announcement, and this is the beginning of what is to come. Classic Disney characters will be coming each month, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Disney's characters in comics."
"Announcements about BOOM Kids! will be marching out through 2011 and will be epic."
