Contacting Boom Studios for Talespin comics

If you notice the press releases, the fact that made Boom Studios decide to turn the new Darkwing Duck comics into an ongoing series instead of a 4-issue was the fact that there was a "tremendously positive fan support".

So, I'm thinking : if we really do want them to make a Talespin comics, it wouldn't hurt to let them KNOW we DO want them to make some, right? They're currently making an awesome job with Darkwing Duck (see the previews here : http://www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia ... ?aid=34871), and they would surely do great things with Talespin too.
We may not have too many occasions like that. So, I would really like if each of you would send an email to Boom Studios.

Most companies don't accept submissions unfortunately. (because they fear of being sued if a fan does a story close to them and they eventually do a similar story "officially")

If some of you sent an email to Boom!, and didn't get an answer...
This doesn't mean they didn't get it. I tried to reach them twice earlier and they didn't reply.

But I had a problem with ordering the Darkwing Duck comics with their "international" service. So I sent them an email, and THIS TIME they answered.
This means that we SHOULD insist on sending them emails. Better more demand than not enough.

A lot of things could help that. It would help if Disney reduced the license fee. I understand they want more money for it, but it would seem to me some money is better than no money. Gargoyles was pretty much SLG’s bestselling title when it was coming out. I think there’s a value there. Again, I’d be more than willing to write some more.

Are they dumb or what?? They increased the license fee, because it was doing very well, but now they don't do anything with it? And instead of lowering the fee to allow them to sell comics and make some money, they prefer doing nothing. Very logical. Great marketing people at Disney I see.
I sure hope the same won't happen to Darkwing or the future DA series that may get made into comics...

Aaaaaaannnnnnnddd...This is starting to REALLY look good!

I reached Jymn yesturday, talking about the Darkwing comics, and wondered if he would agree to do a TaleSpin comic. And here's his answer!

Jymn Magon answered me that today : "I visited the Boom! Studios booth [at San Diego's Comic Con] twice. The actual Disney folk weren't there (when I was). It was all booth attendants. But I did leave a card, and I got a lead that should prove helpfu. Thanks."

They DEFINITELY plan something (please let it be TS!!! even if I like RR, I would be utterly disappointed if it's not part of any new batch of comics they are planning)

Maybe it's too early to say so (this may only be reprints of older comics like the Ducktales ones in Uncle Scrooge), but I really think the Darwking Duck comics success has unlocked SOMETHING

I'm glad for all of you who love RR but I can't help being frustrated. (I still like it but I admit it's the DA series I like the least)

Why is Talespin ALWAYS behind??
