I'm practicing my expressions right now using Kit lol, as for References, I believe there are some scanned modelsheets for TS somewhere. I forgot the link. Saw it some long time ago ><

P.S. since when was my SeaDuck the image to this category? o.O

Check here: viewtopic.php?f=69&t=27467, in the 9th category from the top: 'Creation Resources'.

Let me get a computerized writing tablet and I'm in. Hopefully will have one by next paycheck. What kind of small trailer would we do? Maybe like a promo thing?

You might want to hold off buying anything for the moment... at least until plans get a little more solidified. I wouldn't want anybody to have spent a lot of money if this project goes belly-up. (Perish the thought!)

I'm glad you all like the mini-project idea. As far as what kind of mini-project we do, I'm up for anything. We could do model sheets of characters with different expressions, write the first episode to post, or make a very, very short (~10 sec) trailer for the first episode to post somewhere like YouTube. The first episode would have to be pretty much fully written before a trailer could be made though. I do have some apprehensions about doing a trailer, like exposing people to a standard that we can't maintain unless many, many more people join the project. Maybe we could point out that fact in the trailer right before the part where we ask for volunteers. :)

Whatever mini-project we decide to do, I'm on board.

Yep, sorry maybe I should have asked before, but so far it's the thing that best represent the VS :)

It's no problem. I was just surprised XD

EDIT: Well, here's a random idea for ideas for brainstorming. I thought I might as well help kickstart that idea. Not sure if it will help in anyway aside from morale boost maybe? XD

I'd already planned on buying on of the clipboards for quite a long time now.

Anyway topic just talespin characters. Expressions, anatomy, different ages, situations development, ideas from you, etc.

the program is for free here: http://www.godinferno.net/

save it to your desktop and work from there. Maximum of 3 people . OC can support only 4 people at a time.

If you want to better "synchronize" the times you're doing that, I suggest that you use the Talespin shoutbox on the site :

/talespin/en/chat/

If you're ready to start a session, just post there and if anyone is visiting the site, they'll see your message.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to go. In fact for one thing, I only read this message yesterday and it was after the time already. Plus my internet was unstable because of a typhoon that passed my place so I couldn't really manage to stay online. Aside from Steet's suggestion could you also give us a warning like say a day before the schedule? To give time to prepare and fix schedules? :)

Yes a day ahead would be a great idea. I usually check messages and things in the evening. :) Although today I am home sick. I feel dizzy. Don't know what is going on.

Beautiful sunday. :)

Ok, I'm having a session on Open canvas today, but the right oc file is too big to post in here. You can download it from here and the copy it to your desktop...

http://www.esnips.com/doc/d8585acb-684a ... vas_online

remember to turn the language to english , and to go to network\shownetworking\client\ then type my ip on the connect ip space: 189.210.221.107 , then a nick of your choice. Preferably your nick from here, so I know who you are. then lastly the password which is going to be: talespin after all of that is done correcly is should connect with the button just to the right of those windows. remember a maximum of four peope can get in and thats including me.

If for some reason you are not able to connect . None of you, then there should eb a networking problem somewhere. Try connecting with the firewall turned off, or port 9001 open. If all fails I'm setting up a channel for live broadcasting that supports as many people as we want. the dissadvantage on that is that only I will be able to draw and that the window is going to be small for you to see. Anyway , this is better than nothing. the channel is going to be: http://www.livestream.com/talespin_virtual you probaly will need to sign up, but it wont take you more than a minute.

See you at 6:00 pm central time on Open canvas, and if that does not work on the livestream channel at 6:30 pm central time.

Hope to see you there

After 2 hours of drawing I'm happy with the result. Great for warming up for the virtual season.

Feedback is appreciated on this session and on what and who should I draw on the second session.

*I'm going to be posting lots of images here and some of them will have lots of data. Is there a way you could increase the limit for the files we upload. I had to remove two of my older files from this same thread.

Nice set of sketches. As always they look official or near-official art XD

Sounds like fun... I'll try to make it this time ^^ Although I don't have a tablet so I can't really participate in the drawing that much so I'll probably join in for the chatting and discussion. :D

EDIT: Er... I beg your pardon but I'm not that knowledgable about timezones. What do you mean by Central Time? I've tried several timezone converters but there are multiple Central ____ timezones listed.

EDIT2: The link to open canvas is not working. I got a 'bad link' error from that site.
