Then just for the hey of it and the persistent begging of Kazzy and Deni I made an account again. And I'm glad to see you here again! Apart from Steet, who is too busy to post on here anymore, I think we are the only two from the "old guard" of TIB, Star's Heaven etc. I haven't seen Juuchan17 for a while, either.

Then I just typed it up... boom, found it. Youtube is very annoying, you can't add links in their comments...bummer Deviantart allows that though (even if they are redirected links) Otherwise, I would SPAM Youtube videos with links, eh eh.

Too bad for the Youtube thing, it would have been a great way to advertise the site and maybe rank better in the search engines. But it's possible to link the site from the video description: if you integrate an uploader to Balto Source to let the members upload their videos directly from this site, it would be possible to automatically add a link in the description. Even if every external link on youtube is nofollow...

Quote: Even if every external link on youtube is nofollow... Well it's not just about the search engines. One thing the site(s) are lacking the most are external links, anyway (it only represents 3% of the visits!!) Adding an uploader directly to Youtube on my site - is it possible? Do they offer a webservice like that? Could be practical for the visitors too. Quote: I haven't seen you in here for a while... Then I guess that like many others, you don't find any good intresting topic to post in. Well true, there aren't as many interesting topics to post in the Balto sections. Which is expected, after 5 years...But when there is, I post. Currently I'm more active in the TS sections, which is logical since I have to include some content to attract visitors (never think BS just started up "by itself"...visitors aren't interested in empty websites / forums) and because I'm a bit involved in the new TS Virtual Season project.

Yes, I'm sure it's possible since there are a lot of upload softwares out there, like this one: http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/guides/dvd/ ... ouTube.htm It mustn't be easy to code, and I admit I have no idea how to, but still possible. A good challange for you! steet wrote: Well true, there aren't as many interesting topics to post in the Balto sections. Which is expected, after 5 years...But when there is, I post. It's true that after 5 years members could run over topics about Balto, but the "original" members of Balto Source aren't here anymore, instead there are always new ones who never talked about some things debated years ago.

Just out of curiosity, what kinds of things were debated/discussed 5 years ago?

It's great to find an topic like this, because my story is great also.
When I was thining at my school, two years ago, somewhere in December 2007, I was thinking what I could do on the Internet when I was home. Strangely enough came the realisation that I was a fan of Balto, and that I had forgot the movie for about two years, just after I had seen WoC (which I find the worst Balto movie on date, though), I started to google something about Balto, and then I saw something that was called Balto Source, and I clicked onto it. I was utterly amazed from what I saw, thé site about Balto where I was schearching for!!! Even from the differend sections that there where!!! A few days later, after I had made a fieldtrip with my yougthgroup (I'm Autistic, if someone wanted to know), I decided to make an account on this site, and I'm loving it from the date of today!!!
I joined the forums three months later, because I didn't knowed that it was possible to post on the forum with the same account.
