"Um.. do you w.. want to go hunting with me?'' Nuru asked her cheek fur was starting to turn red again but luckily Ilo,Simba, and Nala didn't see it.

Nala flicked her tail for Nuru to remain quiet, and Simba took a step towards Ilo. "Why aren't you with your pride?" He asked firmly. Ilo sighed and glanced up at him. "I was kicked out." Before Nala could say something, he added in, "By Mheetu." He heard Nala give a tiny gasp, and turned to look at her. "It's actually a long story that I'd like to keep to myself." He muttered. simba nodded. "Well, you're free to stay here, if you'd like." And with that he and Nala padded up into the den on Pride Rock, leaving Ilo alone with Nuru.

Nuru gulped as Nala and Simba padded away from where Ilo and her were. Nuru asked again, "Would you like to take a walk with me and maybe do some hunting?'' She asked this time her cheek fur didn't turn red.

Ilo turned to face her, his green eyes glittering. "Sure." He shrugged as he began to walk away from Pride Rock with Nuru beside him. He sniffed the air. "Where's the best place to hunt?" He asked.

Ilo nodded. "Well, you know the way there." He took a few steps forward before turning to look back at her, his green eyes reflecting friendlyness. "Lead the way, Nuru."

Nuru purred and began walking towards the place where there were most animals and a little water nearby. She flicked her red tail towards a herd of gazelle grazing by the waterhole.

Ilo nodded and crouched down in the tall grass. He crept forward, and waited for nuru's signal to chase the herd and seperate a member so she could get it.

Nuru flicked her tail for the signal to go and she took off full speed causing the herd to run in different directions.

Ilo nodded and sprung from the grass. He noticed an older gazelle and chased after it. In a quick lunge he landed on it and pinned it to the ground. He quickly bit its neck and waited for Nuru to find him.

Nuru soon spotted a gazelle who had an injured leg which made it easier for her to catch than the gazelle to keep up. As soon as Nuru got close she lunged for it's back and grabbed it's neck hearing the sound of bone cracking in it's neck she knew it was dead because of the blood drawn from it's neck. She soon spotted Ilo and dragged her gazelle behind to where he was waiting,she soon dropped it in front of Ilo. "Nice catch''. She purred.

Ilo saw her catch and nodded. "You too." He replied swiftly, not meeting Nuru's eyes. He nosed the gazelle before he tore into it and began eating it. He purred softly as he ate.

Nuru looked at his golden body and flowing brown mane, she just loved his colors blending in so perfectly especially those turquoise green eyes that really made him stand out from the rest of the pride. Nuru bent down and took a bit from her gazelle and her eyes were still focused on Ilo she then took her eyes off as she was done eating leaving the carcass to the buzzards and began washing her face while waiting for Ilo.

Ilo finished his meal fairly quickly and sat up. He began to groom himself, thoughts racing through his mind. He took a quick glance at Nuru before turning his head back to facing the ground.

Nuru stopped in between washing looking at Ilo she asked, "Is there something wrong Ilo?'' She asked looking at him her blue eyes were shining like oceans in the sun.
