Alright, so this is a RP between me and mixed cats. We're gonna RP our characters Ilo and Nuru, who become friends as young teens and then fall in love as young adults :] So, I believe we can start when Ilo is leaving his pride and runs into Nala, who takes him to Pride Rock, where he finally meets Nuru. Then we can go from there.

The sun stretched clear over the cloudless blue sky. Below, a light golden lion was bounding through the grassy plain, his eyes wide with fur, his breath coming in ragged gasps. His brown mane whipped in the slight wind, and he kept his eyes facing in front of him, never looking back. I need to get out of here! he thought to himself as he kept running towards a faint gray outline that seemed painted against the calm land and sky.

Nuru awoke inside Pride Rock, the sun beating down on her copper brown fur, she looked around and realized that some of the pride members had already gotten up. 'I better be getting up to,' she thought and walked outside Pride Rock.

Suddenly a slim shape barrelled into the golden lion. He let out a grunt of pain as he fell on his back. Suddenly a deep growl made him look up, and he saw two furious blue eyes glaring down at him. "Who are you?" The lioness snarled. Ilo widened his eyes in shock. "Nala?" The pale lioness continued to glare at him. "Who are you?"

Nuru's ears pricked up, she heard snarling nearby and ran towards where the sound was coming from, "Nala, wait don't hurt him.'' Nuru said but as she looked at the golden lion with brown mane her heart skipped a beat she realized that this lion was way more handsome than the other lions.

Nala growled and backed away from the lion. "Who are you?" She repeated her question in a firmer tone. Ilo stood up slowly. He turned his head slightly to see a light brown lioness. He stared at her for a few oments before Nala growled louder and repeated her question. He turned back to her. "Nala, it's me! Ilo!"

Nuru looked at him she continued to stare at him before Nala could say something, she told him her name. "H... hello, may name is Nuru.'' She blushed but looked away quickly before Nala could even notice her blushing red light brown cheeks.

Nala ignored Nuru and gasped. "Ilo!" She exclaimed as she bounded over to the male lion. She nuzzled her gently, and began to purr. "What are you doing here?' She asked. Ilo blushed slighty. "It's a long story." He replied taking a quick glance at Nuru.

Nala turned to face Nuru. "Nuru, this is my nephew, Ilo." She stated as she turned to look at the golden male. "But why are you here? Is everything okay with Mheetu?" She asked in a slightly worried tone. Ilo hung his head. "No, everything's not okay..." He murmured.

Nala pinned her ears back and took a step towards Ilo. "Come, we'll talk more at Pride Rock." Ilo nodded and fell in step behind Nalas as she led him and the brown lioness back to Pride Rock.

"I .... I'm sorry if that sounded to pushy towards you.'' Nuru said while walking beside Ilo. If Mheetu was killed or he kicked Ilo out of the pride then she felt really bad for the golden lion even though she still thought he was and is still handsome but she didn't want to tell him not just yet.

Ilo shrugged. "It's fine. I made mistakes, and I just have to pay for them." He muttered as he quickened his pace to catch up with Nala. Despite Nuru's kindness, he was still a bit shy around new liones.

Nuru nodded and kept pace with Ilo and Nala as they were getting closer to Pride Rock.

As they neared Pride Rock, Ilo kept close to Nala, worried about all the faces; new and old; he would see. As they neared the climbing rocks a large golden-brown lion with a flowing red mane came down to greet them. He gazed at Ilo with suspsious red eyes, but Nala whispered something into his ear that made him relax. "Ilo, this is the King, and my mate, Simba." Ilo dipped his head in respect.
