Maliha's heart rose when she saw Kani. She rushed over to him and nuzzled him. "You won't ever leave me, will you?"
She buried deeper into his fur. "Alika's gone and I don't want to lose you too. I love you Kani." When she pulled away there were tears in her eyes. She looked expectantly up at Kani.
