Taji couldn't help but overhear the argument between Moto and Asali. He sighed. Those two would make such a perfect couple as long as they stopped arguing.
"Brother!" Maliha cried as she ran free of the cave. "I was so scared. I'm sorry."

Moto turned back to her. "Just drop it! We've got the others, and we'll be leaving. Now. Unless you'd rather stay in the Outlands because you think you can help," he shot back coldly, giving her a hard glare from his green eyes before he turned to King Taji. "Alright, they're free. What do you suggest we do now?" he asked, clearly not wanting to spend more time arguing with Asali.

"She is the bravest lion I know," Koman said, looking back at Kani, then he walked towards Asali. "We're okay. I guess the lionesses and hyenas didn't want a fight, just to see what the new Lion Guard was like."
"Let's go home," said Alika, nuzzling Maliha. "I need a rest."

Asali smiled down at him though it was overshadowed by concern as she looked over at taji "taji I may be over reacting but we should be more careful I know koman and his guard can handle whoever those lionesses were but we can't let something like this happen again"

"Of course I forgive you. I hope you can forgive me too," Maliha said to Kella. "I guess I just didn't want to believe there was any bad left in the Pridelands."
Taji walked over to Asali. "You're not over-reacting, Asali," he said softly, trying to comfort the lioness. "I agree, they can handle it, but we do need to be on Guard. Maybe if you asked Moto nicely, he'd start training you so you can patrol the Pridelands too. I think Rakhi has enough lionesses in her hunting team."
He started to walk away, but as he did, he looked over his shoulder, back at Asali. "And you'd get to spend more time with Moto," he said, soft enough that only Asali could hear.

Koman was about to leave when he heard pebbles falling behind him. He looked up and saw a lioness' head poke up from behind one of the rocks.
"Lion Guard! Over there!"

"I'm just saying that I think Moto needs someone with him. He used to be quite solitary in the past and ever since you've been with him... I don't know," he said, but then continued after seeing the look in Asali's eyes. "I think you've changed him, for the better."

Moto kept his head high, his fur still prickling from the fight. His anger had begun to fade, though some of it still lingered. He intended to focus it on any enemies approaching, however. But still, his tail flicked with frustration. Didn't she see how dangerous it was? She put herself and others in danger because of this. He breathed a frustrated sigh, closing his eyes for a moment to calm himself before opening them again.
