Yes, there is a certain sense of kinship between them, and if I were of a mind to I might go so far as to profile them a bit and examine the roots of those feelings (I suspect that as an only child and an orphan, Kit felt a longing for siblings and parents, especially a mother, and between Becky and Molly there was an answer to both those absences). I also see what you mean about the possibility of a relationship growing from there, and I agree. As a matter of fact I believe that's the healthiest way for a relationship to form, with the two starting off young and being in consistent contact with each other as they grow up.

Exactly!

Yeah that's how I see the best romances. First they were best friends (how I think they see each other now), 10 or so years later they end up in the loveboat together.

Also, I'd like to think that it would be more than ten years, seeing as they are both evidently under ten. Sorry bad sense of humer, she would be 16 and him 22, legal where I live... for some reason. I'm rather impolsive. But regardless a romance that evolves from their mutrail feeling for each other as friends is a good one.

I wasn't even thinking of it in terms of humor, but yes, that wasn't funny. It was almost as not funny s that kind of thing being legal where you live (remind me not to try raising a family there) Also I figured Kit was ten tops in the show, although he could be twelve. Where's the info on his age? Or anyone's in the show for that matter. And it's not so much the feelings as that, when you grow up alongside someone there's less chance of secrets and less perceived need for them. So many relationships fall part because people rush in and then find out the person they're with isn't the person they thought they were with. When they grow up together, they either know and accept each other or they stop being friends, which prevents unfortnate relationships from forming. Granted it's not foolproof, but it helps.

OK, thanks for clarifying the age thing. Concerning the relationship aspect, you might have heard the phrase "grow old together." The great benefit of relationships with people one knows as a youngster is that you have that much more practice at just that - growing together. Yeah that's what I ment, they were close, but knew that despite the close bond they had they wern't siblings, I see them as best friends and it just grew.

Maybe, but some say he went too WW2, didn't come back at first and it was all different. I don't deny the brother/sister thing, it just changed.

The same could be said of Simba and Nala. In fact I'm pretty sure it was. That's what I was think! I just oftern forget too write thing I might otherwise say.
