What do you think about this couple? do you think it will last or will they grow up from this puppy love?

I personally think that they will not become a serious couple. They are only puppies and it was their "puppy love". Angel is about the same age as Scamp and now, when she get adopted by Scamp's familly, she became like a daughter to Lady and Tramp and like a sister to him and his siblings.

I agree, "puppy" love.

Mostly due to how Disney is, I'm definitely leaning towards they "they are a real couple and going to remain as such." Everyone knows how Disney can't let anyone die alone or anything like that.

Disney let Copper from Fox and the Hound die alone. Notice how they didn't give him a girlfriend. Conspiracy.

I think what Tibbeh means is that they don't do breakups, or when they do, the couple always gets back together somehow. See Lady and the Tramp, High School Musicals 2 and 3, and a host of others. No Disney breakup ever really lasts.

What about Pocahontas and John(?) then? xD


And since there aren't going to be any contuations, fans are more cruel than Disney and can make them break up.

Good argument. Well I have to say that I think at some point Jim Dear and Darling will have to give up some of there dogs unless they want to be on the show horders. As for pocahauntas and John smith it had to be based on a true story but I'de say your argument is valid.

Well, yes, Pocahantus and John did break up. But as Storyseeker pointed out, that was based on historical events (however loosely).

But as for fanfiction, I should point out that fanfiction is not canon and has no real bearing on whether or not they would stay together, save on an experimental basis (and not a very unbiased experiment at that). I could write a fanfic about them getting abducted by Andalites if I wanted, but that wouldn't actually happen within the movies.

Well, even if they did have pups in the future, one of them will die. 98% of Disney movies have characters with one dead parent 8D

I was looking back and noticed this, and a distinct flaw in the logic behind it. It's true that she would be seen as a daughter by Lady and Tramp, and as a sister by Scamp's siblings. That's how a healthy relationship with one's in-laws should be, at least on some level (I'm speaking fourth-dimensionally here, so to say). That doesn't mean that Scamp would come to view her as a sister too.

Well, they aren't married xD They're pups. (Well, Scamp is a pup, I think Angel's older) And it's generally frowned upon marrying even an adopted relative.

Hence why I said I was speaking "fourth-dimensionally." For those who aren't familiar with Back to the Future, That means I'm speaking across time, as it were. I'm looking at things in a future perspective, not just a present one.

As for marrying an adopted relative, I'll grant there's some logic to that. But there's two snags with it.

Sounds like their relationship is much like a high school one. Course this is depending on if you're thinking about it realistically or not. Let's say 'not' since it's a Disney.
It's likely they could be on/off if they did get into a really serious relationship. Then realize they're soul-mates and live happily ever after. Though personally, I really have no idea.
