Tai and Kai gripped the lantern in their mouths, carrying it together to be before the glass, helping to set it up.

"Ice caps," Tai whispered with a giggle.

"The sun," whispered Cachen, standing in front of the lantern. "Ok, momma! Papa! Look!" he called, jumping out of the way of the lantern the moment they did.

"And to the North," Kai said, looking at the cliff face of snow.


Katie and Kodi would turn their heads and make their way up. They both gasped at the sight before them.

"The Northern Lights!" Katie said sitting down slowly. The lights glinted off her eyes, making them sparkle. "It's so beautiful." she said softly.

Kodi wasn't staring at the lights, but at her. "Very..." he said softly. Her head turned, and they stared into each other's eyes. "I missed you, Katie..." he said.

Tears clung to Katie's eyes, and she looked away. "You really hurt me."

"And I'm an idiot for hurting you. You're the best thing in my life." Kodi leaned closed.

Katie turned her head back. "Yes, but-mmf!" her eyes widened as she turned her head; Kodi had attacked her with a soft kiss, gently and loving. A single tear rolled down Katie's face as she kissed back.

Sakak looked to Belladonna and gave a smile, moving his paw over hers.

Jenna looked to Balto and smiled, leaning against him and resting her head against his neck.

Cachen and Lena smiled to their siblings. "We did it..."

Belladonna grinned, nuzzling close to Sakak.


Tai grinned, her tail wagging.


Balto nuzzled close to Jenna, his head over her's.

Kodi pulled away slowly, smiling. Katie smiled back shyly.

"I love you, Kodi." she said gently, and nuzzled her body close to his.

"I love you too." Kodi said. Their tails intertwined slowly as they cuddle ion the hill, watching the lights.

Cachen and Lena ran to their parent's side, cuddling close to each of them.

Shenkin watched from close by, his little puppy eyes wide in amazement.

OOC: Should we end it there or with Katie dropping Shenkin off with the other wolf pack?

It had been a night, and now with the morning came time for Katie to say farewell to her friend. She was sad but he would be able to grow and be happy. "Now," she looked back to Shenkin, who was on her back. "I'm sure you'll be good for this nice pack, right?"

Shenkin nodded. Sakak had already informed them of his... condition. Being most packs had Inuit beliefs to some degree, they took him seriously. "I promise... You really will visit me, right?" he asked, still frightened she was going to abandon him.

Katie smiled. "You will though. You'll get bigger and stronger." she said as she climbed a small hill. There were dens in logs and roly holes in the ground, in the moss... "I think this is it."
