Arrow: [tilting her head to catch the rub behind her ear] Yep, life is good.

To the pups: If you could be anyone in your family for a day, who would you be and why?

And full of surprises Arrow.

Luna, if you where asked to be a human for one day would you take the offer?

Caspar: Dad for sure. He's the best.
Toby: Oh, stop. You're just fine as you are.
Caspar: Yeah, but you're bigger and smarter and bigger and faster and bigger and...
Toby: (laughs) Okay, I get the picture.
Star: I'd want to be Mom. I'm not upset about not looking like her now, but I'd like to know how to handle everything the way she does.
Luna: (giggling) Oh, trust me, I don't know how to handle everything. Your father constantly has me guessing.
Star: Well yeah, but whenever one of us acts up, you always seem to know what to do about it.
Toby: (to Luna through the side of his mouth) Think we should let them keep thinking that?
Luna (clears throat) Uh, Zar, what about you?
Zar: I guess I'd like to be Dad. He's not scared of anything.
Toby: Now you know that isn't true. I just finished saying how frightened I was when you kids were being born. And you saw how terrified I was when your mother almost fell off that cliff.
Zar: Well, yeah. But you're not scared of little stuff. You and Caspar, you're always running around doing crazy stunts. I don't know how you do it.
Caspar: It's called living, bro.
Mel: Call it whatever you want. I'm not interested.


Luna: Hmm, that's a good question. I guess it would be interesting to do all the things they can do. And if I could talk to them and be understood for once, there's so much I'd want to say to Connie and Eugene and their parents.

To all: Are you excited to have an audio series come out based on your adventures?

Caspar: I think I speak for everyone when I say that WE CAN'T WAIT!!!
Toby: [laughs] I second that motion.
Pete: I like the voice actor Dragon Tamer picked to play me. He really brings out my personality.
Toby: Eh, given that he's voicing you in our first little escapade, that could be taken as an insult.
Luna: Well, I'm pleased with all the voices so far. I understand DT's having some technical issues, but once that's settled everything should be perfect.

To all: Think all in all, your lives have been good?

Toby: I didn't always think so, but all around I couldn't ask for a better life. The best humans in town...
Luna: Ahem.
Toby: Arguably the best, not to mention six amazing kids, and the greatest mate in the world.
Luna: [chuckles] Flattery will get you everywhere. I'm with Toby. I couldn't ask for a more wonderful life.
Caspar: Me neither. After all, I've got the best parents in the world.
Arrow: [laughs] I second that one.
Pete: I'll admit, I made a pretty bad mess of my life. But things are getting better, thanks to my family.
Trixie: A little forward, aren't we?
Pete: (clears throat) Uh, and friends. They've tried to be there for me, but I just... well, I went out of my way to chase them off.
Terry: (nuzzling Pete) Oh, Pete, no one holds that against you anymore. We're just glad to have the old you back.
Rex: I must admit, when I first moved to Nome I thought it was the worst thing that could happen to me. Losing my friends, my old reputation, my comfort, and everyone I knew except for the chief. But in the end, I got back everything I lost... (smiling at Toby) ...and then some.
Terry: (kissing Rex) And let's not forget you gave me back something I lost: love.
Melchior: Oh, yuck. I know I'd like my life a lot better if I didn't have to be around when they did that.
Toby: Don't worry, we'll leave when we have to.

Dragon Tamer: Out of respect for redwolf03 and Kelev, I'll refrain from answering for their characters.

To Pete, did you try to ruin Toby and Luna's first date because maybe you have a crush on Luna, too? Just a thought, hehe.

And to Luna, what do you know about your chow grandmother Tasha?

Pete: Maybe I did then, but not anymore. I think I did it because I was jealous of the way they were around each other. I was always trying to impress the ladies and it fell apart before Id even gotten started, but for Toby it was like he didn't even need to impress her.


Luna: Not as much as I'd like to. Blaze was just about my only source on her because I didn't want questions I asked to get dogs wondering if I was related to her. From what he said, Tasha's mother moved into Nome years before the epidemic from someplace overseas. Tasha herself was... well, she was nice, and she loved puppies. She also had a habit of believing the best of everyone. Sometimes a good thing, other times... well, if you know about her then you know where it landed her in the end.

DT: Do you believe there will be more installments to the Toby series? Or do you think that the gangs story has been told to it's fullest?

Dragon Tamer: Oh, rest assured there will be more installments of the Toby Series. I've been somewhat swamped with other endeavors, but I haven't forgotten my old friends. I have lots in store for them, don't you worry.
Luna: And just what might be in store...?
Dragon Tamer: (smirking) Your request has been duly noted, Luna, but if you're going to treat me like Santa Claus, then I reserve the right to make you wait and see like everyone else.
Luna: Rats.
Toby: What did you ask for anyway?
Arrow: Yeah, now I'm wondering too.
Luna: Sorry, I reserve the right to be coy.
Caspar: You know Dad hates it when you do that.
Angel: That's the point, genius.

This ones to Toby and Luna: What are the qualities about each other that made you begin to like each other? And if there were moments and mistakes you made that you could fix, what would they be?

Toby: Well, that depends on whether you mean as friends or as more than that, I guess. When I first met Luna, I was so young that at least initially I liked everyone I ran into. So it didn't take a lot for me to like her. Then once I got to know her, but once I did I guess it was her attitude more than anything else that I liked. She was lots of fun and didn't let bad news ruin her day for long because she was too busy living. The one thing she's never too busy for, though, is to be there when someone else needs her. As for liking her, I think it was mostly a matter of my body catching up.
Luna: Well thanks for stealing what I was about to say.
Toby: Sor-ry.
Dragon Tamer: I love it when they tease each other like this.
Luna: Well, I guess I can skip everything he said since I want to be original. I guess what I noticed right off when I first met Toby, after his thick skull of course...
Toby: Are you ever going to let me live that down?
Luna, Arrow, Angel, and Star: Nope.
Toby: Oy, and you think ladies have it rough?
Luna: Okay, I can take a hint. Like I was saying, the thing I noticed about Toby was that he liked to do things. I like to be around dogs who like to have fun. Besides, how could I not love the irony that he was obsessed with my grandpa? I guess I felt like we were kindred spirits because of that. As important as that was, though, it was his heart that really cemented our friendship. At the times when I needed it most, he really cared about me, and the fact that he wasn't from my family made that all the more special, I guess.


Toby: I can only think of two things: being more patient when we were looking after Loki, and letting Luna come along on that manhunt. Protecting our reputations was important, but I could have just made sure the police team would be there to verify what did and didn't happen.
Luna: Or, since we're supposing we could change anything we wanted to anyway, you could have just asked me to be your mate sooner.
Toby: Are you still bothered about how long I took?
Luna: No, but it's still a thought. Anyway, if it were up to me I might think about changing that time when you messed up my back, but I think that all worked out in the end. If it hadn't happened I might never have told you about my family, and having that sense of understanding really made all the difference lots of times. I'd still change the police fiasco, though, and maybe some of the things I did back when we met Arrow.
