Name:Konrad

Breed:Australian Cattle Dog/Collie/ very small amount of husky in his ancestory.

Personality:Quite kind and friendly but gets annoyed easily. He likes to be a follower and hates being depended on and is generally secretive about his love intrests and so on. He likes to be around friends and suprisingly, he doesn't mind being in big crowds. He doesn't like being teased although it doesn't happen much but he still hates it. Konrad has a great bond with his grandfather as he is most like him, unlike most of his siblings. He is playful and enjoys the little pleasures in life. He likes having human company, but likes to be around dogs aswell, especially if they enjoy the same sort of things that he does.

Likes:Running around in the rain (much to his owners anger), females, chasing birds and rabbits, his hunting job.

Dislikes:Bigger males, tiny dogs, hugely flirtatious females.

History:Born in Teller.His mother was a shy, gentle austrailian cattle dog and his father was simply a stray. Konrad was bought by a 36 year old single man named Joey. Joey trained Konrad to hunt rabbits and birds which they sold to the butcher for a decent anount of money.

Konrad had moved to Nome because his master wanted to be closer to the butcher instead of having to go there every so often (Konrad would pull him by sled.) Konrad grew up being mostly around his owner but he liked to get out and meet other dogs. Konrad met Daiquiri after wondering around the small town after a successful hunt. Daiquiri approached him with a wagging tail. Konrad liked her playfulness and especially liked the fact she wasn't flirty and snobby. Konrad had blood from geese around his mouth and Daiquiri was eager to ask questions about his time in hunting.

Konrad made friends with a couple of other dogs, aswell as Daiquiri, but the two had a strong, happy friendship; the two constantly had a laugh chasing rabbits into their burrows and the geese into the sky. Konrad's master makes friends with a new women in the town who seems to dislike Konrad for his will to chase things, as she bred rabbits in her old home in America. Konrad also disliked her, and ended up burying her scarf down at the shore.

Other:Konrad works as a hunting and retrieving dog, which I thought would match well with Daiquiri. Also, could you tell me if his design is to complicated, I have other males available.

Future Plans:Konrad's master, Joey, meets a girl and the two get married a year later. Konrad's hunting times with his master go down and he is left to wonder around most of the day. He and Daiquiri spend more time enjoying each-others company and they become closer. Konrad's career as a hunter improves after his owner got married and his wife spends a lot working (she works at the post office.)

Why should Konrad become Daiquiri's mate?: I like how they both like to chase things and the hunting part goes well together. Konrad may be a newer character, but he is most likely to be one of my favourites. Daiquiri is the perfect female to lighten up his life and get him away from all the human company and be around dogs more. She would also help build his confidence as he can be quite shy at times.

Daiquiri's Adoption Application

Pups:None, she thinks she is to young at the moment.
Parents/Siblings: Unknown
Likes: Playing, chasing, attention, other dogs, people/children, Konrad, food (as any retriever does.)
Dislikes: Loud noises, thunderstorms, being yelled at, Raccoons (was bitten when being trained young), flirtatious males and dogs who casn't face the fact she doesn't want them around her.

Personality: Like most labs and/or retrievers, has lots of energy that needs proper channeling by training and exercise, but is very loving and playful. Loves to chase just about anything that moves. Can have issues focusing, being young, but willing to please. Daiquiri is quite intelligent but it doesn't always seem this was as she can be a bit clumsy at times if she gets over-excited and she can also ask a lot of questions. She is very curious. Towards humans, Dai is very loving and loyal. She would do anything for her family and is very protective over the children who are 4 and 6 years old. Dai is very hard-working but because she is worked, her owners have to give her a lot of walks and they also allow her out on her own. When out and about, Daiquiri likes to meet new friends, even if that is Steele. She sometimes makes the mistake of trying to be friendly to everyone, even when she knows they won't or don't like her. Daiquiri doesn't like flirtatious males as she doesn't know how to go about their actions. She hates having pressure put on her.

Story: Was originally bred and sold as a small game hunting dog, but was a few months later put up for adoption because her owner got frustrated with her training. Was adopted by a family who were looking for a new dog after the death of their last pet. She grew up with many dogs around her becasue her owners introduced them to her reasonablly quickly. Dai met a male called Konrad one day after a walk. as the two dogs began to have along chat while sniffing eachother out, their humans also began to talk. Daiquiri asked him a lot of questions about hunting as she was eager to find out what they do. As the two departed to go back home. Daiquiri shouted out to Konrad. " Meet me just outside the forest, there are rabbits to be chased!" Konrad and Daiquiri constantly went out and chased the rabbits and geese around. They began to actually catch things. Konrad's owner's girlfriend hated this and she soon stopped Konrad from leaving the house without supervision.

Daiquiri felt alone and all the dogs seemed to be ignoring her now. But one day she met Bently. An intelligent and snobby male Jack russell cross. He was looking for dogs who could hunt to help him and others feed four 7 week old pups who were close to starvation. Daiquiri couldn't believe what she was hearing and agreed to help. Daiquiri, however, had not asked where these puppies were and she ended up miles away from home. As they walked into the abandoned barn, she could here the pups whimpering and yelps. Soon after, she was sent out to hunt with Bently and a female Toller called Tessa. The three dogs ran for hours on end in the cold winter air. Daiquiri was not used to these conditions, and ended up collapsing after catching a duck. Tessa dragged her home along with the meet gathered.

Dai ended up going home after that day. Bently frowned apon her for fainting and she felt terribly un-welcome. On her way hom she suddenly heard a sudden barking sound. She turned around to see Konrad running up to her. He managed to get out from the house by barking constantly to irritate his master's girlfriend. The two played for ages on end. When Daiquiri's owners started calling for her again (as they thought she had gone missing) Dai began to walk away, when Konrad nuzzled her under the chin. The two were definately closer than ever. Daiquiri just blushed and said good bye.

Future: Daiquiri grows up a beautiful female, but doesn't lose any of her energy. She turns out to be a dog helper in her family home for the eldest child, who had a terrible accident which caused him to lose his sight. Daiquir became his guide dog without being forced. She had a special bond with the boy and he treasured her. Konrad and Daiquiri become mates when she is 2 1/2 years old and she becomes pregnant at 3. While pregnant she still insists guiding the boy and ends up giving birth by his side in his bedroom. (More will be added if I can think of it xD)

Why I want Daiquiri and why I think I deserve her: I would love to adopt Daiquiri because I think I could offer her a great home where she would be drawn constantly aswell as starring in my story about Tessa's dog pack. I will also make renders of her too. I love Dai's markings and colours and how unique they are. She will be so much fun to draw.

I think I deserve Daiquiri because I put a lot of effort into my characters and she would be used well. I am a generally responsible person, I won't abandone her or forget about her and I have also come up with all of her basic storyline aswell as her relation to Balto. I am also online everyday, so don't expect me to just dissapear, she will be on the main page of art uploads a lot and I promise that. I also won't bombard her with crushes and puppies and she will definately not be adopted out again.

Oh god I'm sorry this has been dead so long, it wasn't my intention of making it drag on, I promise. I just got caught up in so much else I either forgot about it or didn't have time. D8 So, so, SO sorry. I will try to stay on top of it this time. I thank those who stuck with me and were patient, you're saints xD <3 If anyone is STILL interested in this topic, please let me know so I can update the information.

Also, I will now be changing this topic to include adoption for Daiquiri, because I really don't think I can keep her, or keep her balto related, so if anyone has any good ideas and you would like to adopt her, please add that to your original post if possible, or just make a new one. Just be sure to tell me if you update your post so I can take note of it. You don't have to keep all of her original info, but please don't change EVERYTHING. Be sure to include a history in your adoption application.

Soft pastel colors tend to soothe Abby's frayed emotions; she can relate to these colors. She loves to please others because it helps her to feel valuable. She likes it when others give her a personal invitation to do things so she knows she's wanted, but she doesn't know how to initiate. She tends to think a lot about what has happened during the day so she can organize her thoughts. She feels the need to be detailed and precise, and she likes to do tasks. She also likes to be with others, but they tend to stress her out and drain her energy if she's with too many for too long. She wants others to be genuine; she usually knows if a person is genuine or not. She is tenderhearted and has a gentle spirit, but she tends to be somewhat emotional. Crying is her "safety valve" and helps her deal with stress. But, she also has a dry sense of humor; others are never sure if she is serious or joking.

She has a compulsive need to make her own decisions in her own time, so she is self-motivated. She also doesn't like to make snap decisions when she's in a leadership position. She also tends to be a rebel, especially if someone tries to make her do something she doesn't want to do. Nonetheless, she expresses little control over others and allows them to make their own decisions. Loves to give advice when asked and is a good leader in ares that are familiar to her. She has a compulsive need to appear competent and in control, which is hard because she is very emotional. She wants others to be responsible, reliable and dependable; she has been let down too many times. She becomes angry if someone criticizes her or points out her mistakes/makes her look foolish.

She expresses a great deal of love and affection; she is uninhibited when it comes to expressing love and affection. She also needs to receive a great deal of love and affection in response. She tends to touch others a lot because she is relationship oriented in this area and she expresses love and affection by touch. She needs to be told constantly that she is loved, and if she is not told, she suffers from anxiety. She has a huuuuge fear of rejection so, because of this, she says and does things that she knows are not right to keep from being rejected. To put it lightly, she is crushed if a loved one rejects her. Unfortunately, she tends to explode in an outburst of anger, even though it doesn't last long. Despite all this, she is very inspiring, uplifting and loving. She is "like sunshine appearing on a cloudy day." She has a way of warming people and making them feel loved.

Likes: Running, exercise, being with friends, the sun, water, watching the birds, being with loved ones, the list goes on and on

Dislikes: Being bullied or seeing others being criticized/bullied, hot days, the "food chain" of popular dogs and unpopular dogs (she thinks its totally bogus xD), being told what to do or others saying they understand her because she thinks no one does, high-strung dogs who demand respect even though they don't deserve it.

History: Abby was hardly 3 months old when her mother died, leaving her father to fend for himself and the young pup. She grew up right outside the town, but the people knew who she and her father were, and would give food to them willingly when her father would go into the town in search of some. They lived like this until Abby was about 1, and her father disappeared. There were rumors that a man had taken him and put him in the pound, but he was never adopted and was put down. Other rumors say there was a visitor in the town and he "adopted" her father, taking him back home with him, unaware that the male had a daughter to take care of.

Though she never found out what happened to her father, she promises herself every day that he's still alive somewhere looking for her (which he is... he'll find her later). After losing her only parent left, she moved into the town, looking for friendship in her time of mourning. A kind single woman around the age of 36 adopted her into her family of dogs (she had 5 other homeless dogs) and would dutifully feed her every other day, providing for her in the best way she could. Even though Abby disappeared every night when the other dogs settled down to sleep together, she always reappeared in the morning, greeting her adopted family members with a warm heart and a wagging tail.

She lived with this woman until she died of cancer a year later, writing the ownership of her dogs off to her younger sister in her will, leaving them in her care. Her sister is around 28 and somewhat troubled, having been recently divorced out of a marriage she thought was perfect. She often turns to Abby for comfort and spends most of her time with the young dog nowadays, slowly healing her heart with time. But, now that Abby has met Name, she is torn between spending time with her owner, and spending time with Name.

Other: Nothing really, other than I will be on BaltoSource as often as I can be, so I'm available for roleplaying pretty much any day~ I'd love to rp with these two.

Future Plans: I can't say I have anything big planned for her. I don't usually write fanfics, so she may not be in any (unless we rp one together), but she will definitely be in my fanart. I may simplify her markings a little so they're not as complicated, and I'll make them look more like a german shepherd, since her father was a GSD and her mother was a husky. Thank you for reading~
