We're you scared of ADGTH?

I never thought of it as Scary when I first watched it. Mostly because I didn't pick up on these things and thought they were normal.

I watched it when I was 4 for the first time at my grandmas house. I really don't remember seeing/feeling any of it except on the part where it looks like Carface is trying to kill Charlie with tomatoes.
After I watched it last Feb. (I'm 11, mind you) I was hoping with all my heart that my mom wouldn't come into my room in the hell scene. xD In the end, I skipped through it.

Yeah the thing with Carface used to freak me out it really it really did not scare me it just freaked me out

No but it was kinda weird and the alligator started to freak me out cuz that is unusual.

I watched this film for the first time just a couple years ago. The only scene that actually freaked me out was the singing alligator. It creaps me out for some reason and still does...

I gotta say, I didn't like it first time when I sawed it, it was dark, it had drugs, and killing.
My 6-year old cousin was pretty scared of the whole movie.
You know, it isn't such a 'kid movie'

Since you said there was drugs, killing, and was very dark it does kinda get me scared.

No I can't say I was ever scared of ADGTH because I had watched it when I was around 10 or 12ish (lame I know) and had seen the sequel first before watching the original. It was intense, sure, but honestly I just didn't blink an eye at it. I think it was because it was an animation that I just did not flinch at any part of it whatsoever. Of course this mindset did change when I watched a much more violent animated movie, but that's besides the point xD

was i scared? no way i haven't watched until a few years ago when the 2nd one was on encore. then when both came out (the double feature pack) i've decided to get them and i did.

What a great topic! I never really thought of being "scared" of ADGTH - but I saw it when I was pretty little - maybe only 5 or 6. My cousin had it, and we watched it when I went over. I remember my favorite part being when Charlie brings in the pizza and they all share! But other than that, I never was crazy about ADGTH - and when thinking about it, it was probably because I was a little bit scared!

The only thing that scared me was the Big-Lipped Alligator. The hell scene didn't bother me at all. xD
