The first time I saw this (which was only a few months ago! lol!) I wasn't scared, instead I was a little shocked and feeling like WTF at the same time! I was also lost through half the film so there were also a few instances were I was thinking "How did this start?"

When I was little, some things just freaked me out. Now, nothing really scares me in the movie.

i always liked the movies i don't find them scary when you think about it its like a adventure for Charles and Itchy.

the HellHound always scared me but thats what made the movie exciting becuase the series was more comical than the movie

I remember renting the movie from the library when I was like what? 8? idk a while ago.
Anyways, I remember being, not so much scared, but uncomfortable at some points- Charlie's nightmare being one of them. I also remember crying alot, and hard to. (Tears of sadness, not fear :p)
I just recently watched the movie about 4 days ago or so and since i'm older, I did not find it as uncomfortable as i remember. Although that singing crocodile was quite strange lol, I had alot of O_O moments. And I only cried a little bit near the end with Charlie saying something like; "Good-byes aren't forever" since I could relate with my own pets who passed away.

I'll admit this now no this movie did not scare me when I first saw it when I was a kid but I did find it rather dark for a kids movie but to be fair if there's any movie I think would truly scare me at that age it'd be Watership Down cuz bunny's killing other bunnies is not kid appropriate at all and why they would put that as a kid's movie is beyond me
