I agree with most of you guys. The first one was very romantic and Scamp, he kinda got me a little annoyed. Because he acts like my dog!

The first one was much better than the second one. I didn't like the 2nd one as much. I liked it, but it wasn't as good as the first one.

I like the traditional feel and touch from the first.

As an Animation freak I'm here to shed some light on the subject.
Lady and the Tramp 2 was not as good as the first. I Found it kind of A repeat. The first's animation was amazing and better then the sequal. I loved The charecters in the first , The sequal I loved most of them.Overall , Ok to watch.

I guess I'll go against the flow here and say I preferred the second one hands down, for the following reasons. 1) As already noted, the picture was sharper. 2) I like that the second one was so similar to the story of the Prodigal Son. 3) The struggle just seemed more genuine in the second one. I mean let's be honest; even putting aside the fact that it's a Disney movie (and thus obligated to have a happy ending), was there ever any real question of Lady's true loyalties? The real struggle was on Tramp's part, trying to draw her away from her life and ultimately getting drawn into it, and that was never really given any attention. In the case of Scamp and Angel, while Scamp was the center of the plot, both of them had a fair amount of attention to their hopes, their fears, and their frustrations. 4) Can I just say that Scamp and Angel made a more interesting couple? I think it's better to begin with when you have one individual actively trying to influence the other for the best, and again, that didn't really come into play much with Lady and Tramp in the first movie. 5) Two words: good parenting. Tramp never got painted as Mr. Perfect Dad, but to put it in a nutshell he's one of the few fathers I've seen in animated Disney movies, classic or recent, who did something right besides admitting he'd messed up. Granted, there wasn't really room for anything like that in the first movie, but it still made for a breath of fresh air. 6) On the subject of parenting, let's not forget that a lot of what Tramp did right was encouraged by Lady, and not like in the first movie either. In the first movie, she simply drew him in the right direction by being charming, innocent, and loyal to her family (ladies, let me know how that works in the real world). In the second one, she was more pro-active about it. She still left it up to Tramp to lead, but she was much more involved as his partner in parenting. Again, I concede that the first movie didn't have much of an opening for this, but it's still a point for the sequel in my book. 7) Maybe Buster lacked the menace of the dog-catcher (and I'll grant that the new dog-catcher was a downgrade too), but as villains go it was much harder to dislike a dog-catcher who was just doing his job and, let's face it, nice. The villains in the second movie may have been a downgrade in some respects, but they (and Buster in particular) were much easier to think of as bad guys. I could probably come up with more, but that's what comes readily to mind.
