Hello everybody!  I would like to pass along the happy news that Minions Source is now open for your enjoyment and posting!  Mightybalto1925, -Legolas10- and I have worked hard on producing a great and interesting source site for you Despicable Me and Minions fans and we hope you'll come by often and have a look at all the great stuff on offer to you (and that you'll spread the word to other fans)!  SEE THE EDIT BELOW...

Why "Minions Source" and not "Despicable Me Source"?  We've been asked about that once or twice.  Well, we wanted to go with current name recognition...and the latest movie in theaters, and being promoted and marketed like crazy on the internet, is Minions.  But rest assured, our source covers all the movies in the franchise...including both Despicable Me movies and their accompanying mini-movies!

We've got several key features that not only provide you with information you might find elsewhere (but in a whole new way), but we've also got a few unique features not found on other Despicable Me sites generally!  Here's a quick summary:

-- What Is A Minion? gives you a good look at the minions themselves, and the various kinds!  This is something you won't find elsewhere on the internet (to our knowledge...and we looked!)

-- The Evil Minions allows you to see the darker aspect of the minions, when they were temporarily transformed into those grunting, twitching purple (but still hilarious!) monstrosities seen in Despicable Me 2!

-- The Minion Language gives you a breakdown of the vaguely-familiar language used by the minions in the movies...with more information than you'll find on most other internet pages about it!

-- How To Be A Villain presents a look at four books, out there on book sellers' shelves, and available from online book sellers, which give a tongue-in-cheek guide to becoming a supervillain!  You won't find this on any other Despicable Me or Minions site either (well, they're not licensed merchandise, or related directly to the movies, but they are great reading)!  Ever wanted to envision yourself as Gru, Dr. Nefario, Vector, El Macho or Scarlet Overkill?  Here's where you can start!  (They'd make a great resource for fan creations too!)

There's plenty more as well, and more material is on the way!  The production section for Despicable Me has some great production art and videos, and each multimedia section has great video clips sections!  We're working on expanding those sections when the time allows, so keep watching!

We hope that there will be frequent activity on the source, plenty of new fan material, and lots of discussion!

EDIT: We have updated the CSS information on this source, and changed some text colors to make things easier to read.  Some of the white hyperlink text was being swallowed by the yellow background, and then some of the yellow text likewise.  We settled for all text, pretty much, being dark purple, except for a few specific instances, and then all hyperlinks of a burgundy red (rather like Gru's "delicious line of jams and jellies".  lol  Hopefully that will solve any readability issues.  Thanks for your patience!
