Personality:
Sora is a…difficult one, he is very loyal but had to grow a very hard skin around him to avoid getting into fights for what the other dogs are used to tell him, he learnt to become deaf and blind to those who provoked him, apparently he doesn’t care, he has to not care. Because of this, Sora often appeared very cold and detached at first, considering that everyone he met had only treated him like dirt, why should he show his true face to some unknown dog? However, he is not a heartless dog, on the opposite, he would give his life to protect the ones he loves. He is often very frustrated, when the ones he talks to or warns to don’t believe him, or laugh at him even. He really can’t understand why he has to be punished for what his mother did. Sometimes he takes hard decisions in order for his actions to not affect others.

Likes/Dislikes:
Sora likes tranquility, he has a personal small and hidden place far from where the pack usually stays and he is known to spend there a lot of time, especially at night. He doesn’t have much to chat, since usually nothing happens, but he enjoys when his brother Shun comes to spend some time with him, describing his day, how the pack is doing, Sora knows most of this, since he too is daily visiting the pack even if not for long and, even if he is not really interested about what those dogs are doing, he gladly listens to Shun. However, Shun is the only one in the pack, aside from Leila, to be nice to him. The pack judges him for what his mother had done and this is what Sora really can’t stand. He really doesn’t like to be marked as a liar or as a traitor only because the other dogs don’t like him.

History:
Sora was the first and only son that Kurimutora had with Sylena. His father had recently built a pack of dogs in the mountains in Hokkaido but the territory where they decided to stay interested another pack of dogs, ready to use fangs and claws to claim it. Kurimutora, however, is a great speaker and was able to deal with their leader arranging a marriage between himself and the leader’s daughter, Sylena. Kurimutora didn’t love her but he knew that it would have prevented many future battles between the two, it was a sacrifice worth doing. The other leader accepted and the two packs merged, with the consent of Hokkaido's most important dog, Hakuro. Sylena was madly in love with Kurimutora, obsessed and possessive but the Kai knew he couldn’t do anything about it, or else, the other now ex-leader would have had something to say about the matter. Sylena became pregnant but she gave birth only to a puppy, healthy and a boy, Sora. She hoped to have more, she wanted hers and her mate’s genes to run around all Japan. Kurimutora loved Sora but sadly gave him little attentions, mostly because of a small female that was found wandering in the woods, lost and apparently, unable to remember anything about her life, not even her name. The pack called her Ushina (Ushinawareta means "lost”) and welcomed her to stay. Sora was still too small to remember her but he does remember her mother immediately disliking her. As the leader, Kurimutora had to walk her around the borders and teach her, along with other youngers, the way of the pack and Sylena didn’t like her mate to spent more time with such a low ranking dog, instead with the alpha female and their son. The disaster arrived when Kurimutora announced that Ushina was heavy with his puppies. Again, Sora was too young but he clearly remembered that from that moment on, his mother became mindless. She ignored and neglected Sora, all she did was plan a way to take a revenge on Ushina. When the pups were born, three of them, Sylena attacked. She wanted first to lure Ushina in a trap while hunting but when she got to know that the Shikoku had more pups than her, she lost her mind even more, got into the den, killed crushed the newborn’s skulls and broke Ushina’s neck in front of everybody. As good as the neo-mother was, she stood no chances against the crazy Sylena. Kurimutora was out on patrol, when he got the news, for Ushina was already too late. He banished Sylena without hesitation and, followed by a group of scouts, he escorted her into a land controlled by anybody. Hakuro was informed of this and he thought the cream Kai was too soft, that a crime like hers needed to be punished with a death sentence, he was fearing for his dogs too since a crazy dog could do very bad things but he accepted the Kai's decision in the end. She wasn’t seen again. Sora entered the den to see what had happened, only to see his father crying over Ushina and the three pups’ bodies. Surprisingly, he found a red and cream fur ball well hidden on a hole, Ushina had four pups and not three, the news of the lesser number might have ran around when she was still giving birth. Kurimutora was overjoyed to see that one puppy was still alive. 
But, as Sore grew, all the attentions were given to Shun, the surviving puppy, while Sora was always looked at with a negative eye, as if they still had Sylena around. Even Hakuro, during his visits, cared only for Shun, he probably didn't even remember Sora's existance. He grew angry and frustrated and, at some point, he decided to leave.

He was found by an odd looking black dog, who looked like a mini bear than a dog. This Vietnamese dog, Vaal, offered him a place to stay, among her pack and Sora accepted. This was a dark period for him, as he joined this pack into killing and taking over smaller packs. The blueish dog wasn’t happy about this way of life, he had been taught differently and so, he decided to leave Vaal’s pack as well. Before doing so, Vaal carried him into another raid, this time to a very small pack of ex house dogs, living near a temple. He had to watch the dogs being killed one by one, the pack mates still alive, forced to watch their companions die. Once that killing was done, Vaal and the others disappeared, Sora was about to go too when he noticed a dog, the leader, a female Husky, still alive. He tried to help her, telling that he meant nothing of what happened, crying and whining. He was forced to flee when a German Shepherd appeared, blaming him to be the murderer, trying to take his life. Sora tried to explain but there was no way the older dog would listen so, he had to run for his life.
Some months passed and, having nowhere to go, he returned to his father’s pack, only to discover that the German Shepherd he had encountered, Eiji, was not a member of the pack, even worse, he was Kurimutora’s right hand. His father welcomed him back but everybody opposed to it, especially Eiji, who still accused him of being his mate, the Husky, ‘s murderer. Sora had to go through a lot of psychological stress caused by the dogs of the pack and Eiji. The German Shepherd also tried to get to his side Hakuro, who probably knew the story of Eiji's mate by heart after how many times the scarred dogs told Hakuro. Seeing his half brother, the surviving puppy, who was named Shun, was a surprise for Sora, who had almost forgotten him. Shun wanted to interact with him, in a friendly and sincere way and, after a while, Sora opened up to him, accepting his friendship. But Eiji didn’t come alone to the pack, he and the killed Husky had a daughter, Leila, who was two years younger than Sora. Leila was Shun’s apprentice and she immediately showed interest for Sora, who, later on, shared her same feelings, much for Eiji’s rage, who didn’t understand why her daughter wanted to talk and be with that traitor of a dog and was sure that Sora might have brainwashed her or something.
Sora was once again involved with Vaal when she decided to take over all the packs in Hokkaido and then in Japan, to build a single, gigantic pack led by her. Sora was almost killed but saved by an old white Akita, the legendary bear hound Riki’s son and Gin’s brother. Nobody though, seemed to believe him about Vaal’s plans. Sora was forced to travel to Ohu, followed by Leila, asking for help.

Relation to the Ginga universe:
His pack is allied with Hakuro's and he often visited Sora's pack, with him and Kurimutora being friends by now. Was saved and befriended Gin’s white brother, Giyan, often visited Ohu to ask Weed and his soldiers for help. Was allowed to stay in Gajou with the other dogs before getting back to Hokkaido and became close to Akame and Gin, the only ones willing to listen to him, unlike Weed, with whom Sora often argued in his time in Ohu. Leila is also a granddaughter of Kichinosuke, one of Kisaragi’s sons.
