Okay, now, before all of you freak out on me, please consider that this may actually be possible...

Lets look at a picture of both of them...

Do you not see the comparrison? The face expression, for one. It is the exact same thing! Even Mufasa and a few other lions make this face expression in the movie, but I saw no comparison with them. But Zira and Scar are near exact.

Now, you may not think the means anything, but they both have the same noses. How many lions in the movie had black noses? I can only think of four.... Kovu, Scar, Zira, and Nuka. You may think, "Oh, well, that is a lot of lions." But, think about it.... There are DOZENS of lions in that movie. Four are not that many compared to the rest.

Now, I  am not even sure about this next one. But they both have little tufts of hair on their chin. I can't really think of many other lions that have that, besides Nuka.

Look at their ears. They are both pinned back. Now, I know what you are thinking. "Well, they are just pinned back because they are angry." Nope. Of course, it may be possible in this situation. But if you look at pictures of them, they are always pinned back, really. I don't know if any other lions have this feature. I'm just guessing. Females have ears that do pin pack pretty far, though.

Now, look at their colors. Scar's is much darker than Zira's true. But, Zira also has very dark fur, for a female. Almost all females have very light fur.

If Zira were Scar's sister, that would make her Mufasa's sister... So, does that mean she would be in royalty, too? Probably not, because Scar wasn't, until he overthrew everybody and killed Mufasa. It just doesn't seem very likely to me, since she was in a group of outsiders...

So, you decide. Are Zira and Scar siblings?

I don't believe it, but it could be true. Nobody really knows Zira's true descendants. Anyway, the reason she was probrably in a group of outsiders is because Ahadi and Uru wanted boys, and gave her away as a baby. Then her adopted mother decided to send her back 'home' but didn't tell her about her parents.

Seriously?! Just because they look a little similar, doesn't mean they're siblings! Besides, wouldn't Zira be shocked that Scar killed Mufasa, I mean Zira would be Muffy's sibling too. And besides, Kiara and Kovu would be related, which is what Disney tried to eliminate!

i think their a couple as well, but im just pointing out some flaws We dont see Zira in Lionking 1. Yes i belive they are mates, Nuka has her eyes yet looks like scar. In a delaeted scene Zira says" And i Zira his loving devoted queen." But i have never heard zira say that scar took her in, Nuka says scar took kovu in. I watched it revcently and she never said that.

And Zira talks of scar with great admiration and wants to kill simba for him...she greatly loves him obviously. It's HEAVILY implied . And if Scar took Kovu in..and Zira says "Scar's gone..but Zira's still around" meaning she's a motherly figure to him since his "dad" died

if you listened to the movie...Zira said Scar took her in when she was an outcast (meaning she didn't know him before)..and nuka looks like scar...obviously they're a couple . And Nuka pointed out that scar wasn't even Kovu's father..just sorta took Kovu in.

I think everyone is missing the fact that Mufasa and Scar are siblings and they look absolutely nothing like each other . so it is completely irrelevant that they look like each other. probably just Disney's representation of good and evil

round the eyes is black, it seems to be that villians have the black around there eyes and the goodies don't. There kind of orangey and the villians (wich become goodies in the end of lion kng 2) are grey an all, apart from vitani and zira who dies because of the river. (or is she?) xx

Scar and zira a not sister and brother because they have children. They are blood relatives because there married. Brothers and sisters arn't aloud to get married. It's againts the law aswell. Zira and Scar have nuka just before scar dies. Then zira has vitani and covu but i can't see why in lion king 2, that covu says scar isn't his father. I can't see how that is? When kiara goes out very young and see's her chance to get away from timon and pumba while there arguing about bugs, she goes into the outlands and meets covu. When simba comes and is angry with covu and hates him when he's grown up and joins his pride in zira's plot, he's hating his own nefu there! But likes him when kiara's making her point from when she was young and simba sings the song, 'we are one' I'm not sure but i think Kiara and Covu are cousins. Plus, it dousn't take long for kiara and covu to fall in love by the way. xx

OK a lot of problems in the theory. 1:in a deleted scene (they cut it out to save time) Zira said she would be his devoted queen if he was still alive. 2:Nuka is Scar's dad. 3: (this was bugging me for a LONG time.) Kovu just for the record does not look like Scar. The only thing he has in look comparison is green eyes and a scar but the scar might go away. I think it's a good theory though.

Well it could be possible because of all these details you have pointed out but Zira's or Scar's ears are not pinned back. It is just in that snapshot in the movie. Now here is the reason why I don't think it could be posible, this is because Zira and Scar are Nuka's real parents and that means that she would be Mufasa's sister as-well as Scars. So I lean more to the not siblings side.

It is a good idea but this is only one theory, also if this was true, disney would have said so. Also, these aren't really official characters- they are on the source but six new adventures and the comics the others came from were not made by disney. They were approved by disney, but not for use in films or official disney books.

In terms of real lion pride's it is very possible that Scar and Zira would be half brother and sister. This is because there is only one ruling male of each pride and he mate's with all the females. Going along with this idea, Sarabi, Sarafina and Zira would all be dauther's of Ahadi (Mufasa and Scar's father). But that would mean that Nala would techniquely be the dauther of Mufasa (Because he was the lead male of the pride) Which would make Simba and Nala brother and sister as well as cousins. It would also make Kovu and Kiara related anyway. My guess is that disney just didn't put THAT much thought into it when they were creating their characters. Zira and Scar look alike beaused they are villians, not because they are related. Kovu looks like Scar because he was going to be scar's son when they first designed him, untill they realised that would make him related to Kiara. So they changed it. Nuka is just week because he was born that way and grew up without love and good food. Saying all of this, the idea of them being brother and sister is a good one, but it is wrong, only because Disney wouldn't do that. Had it been a real lion pride, it would be extremly possible.

Kiara101,that sounds weird. Sarabi would never had followed Zira!By the way,if she is banished,Simba must have done that!And that is impossible,after you see the scene were Simba runs to his mother when Scar hit her. Good article. But i don't think they are siblings
