She does have a stronger side, though this is rarely shown, and is often shoved aside by her kinder qualities.
Bio:
Anasikia was the firstborn of King Kopa's triplets, and perhaps the weakest, the polar opposite to her squealing, writhing siblings. For the first few minutes of her life, she was silent and unmoving, and barely acknowledged her parents of siblings. Baridi began to fear for her life, but when she opened her azure eyes, all the fear was washed away.
The princess didn't show much of an interest in play during her early life; in fact, she didn't show much of an interest in anything. Her parents began to scold her for ignoring them, but were surprised when she shrugged it off, as though they'd never said a word. Her siblings also noticed how distant she was, and when Baridi took her eldest daughter to see Rafiki, he announced that she was deaf, and the reason for her 'ignorance' was because she simply could not hear. Distraught, Baridi asked the shaman for advice, and he took her in, teaching her how to speak through body movements, and how to understand others through the movements of the mouth.
Kopa was troubled when his lessons with Anasikia didn't prove to yield any progress, and came to the difficult descsion to make Mfalme heir to the throne. To the kingdom's surprise, Anasikia didn't protest; she knew it would be absurd to have a Queen who could not hear her subjects, and simply told her parents she would become a healer, training alongside Rafiki. The shaman was more than happy to adopt her into his services, and she showed a knack for the healing profession.
After a while, Anasikia grew bored of the confined life, and decided to strike out on her own in the dead of the night. She covered her scent trail and tore into the desert, but eventually collapsed from malnutrition. She woke in a jungle, a pale lion with a jet-black mane standing over her. He seemed to be looking above her, not directly at her, and she saw the reason why: his eyes, milky white and glazed over, were blind and the lion himself could not see. Nor could she hear his words, but she could yet understand him. His brother, a darker lion with the same dark mane, managed to get the message she was deaf and relayed the information to his elder, who still seemed determinted to nurse her back to health.
Luck was on her side, however, as Nusura burst through the undergrowth, standing over Anasikia and snarling for the males to back off. They seemed amused by her bravery, and Anasikia told her that they were no threat whatsoever. It took a while, but the two sisters eventually warmed up to the males, and Nusura helped Kukuona understand Anasikia's words through touch. She also helped Anasikia talk, although her words were slurred, and her voice that of a fool's, and she prefferred to use movement.
As a young adult, she asked Kukuona to be her mate, and he was more than happy to make her his. The two stayed together, with their respective siblings, and roamed the jungle forevermore.
