Meaning: Honey, because of her fur colour

Parents: Kovu and Kiara

Siblings: Niya (from the same litter) and 4 others (from different litters)

Crush: Kula and Chumvi's grandson

Mate: Kula and Chumvi's grandson

Likes: Her siblings (she is especially close to Niya), her parents, meat, freedom, hanging with Timon and Pumbaa

Dislikes: Fire, responsibilities, hunting (she is very bad at it like her mum)

Personality: She has a carefree personality and goes by the famous phrase "hakuna matata". She gets along well with Timon and Pumbaa because of this.

History: Asali was one of 2 cubs born to Kiara and Kovu. This was their first litter. She was born first, then Niya about 15 minutes later. 
 

She hated responsibilities so it was clear to Kovu and Kiara that she wasn't going to be future queen. That title was given to Niya. Asali didn't care. She didnt want the responsibilities of ruling a kingdom anyway.

When she was a cub, she was told that her uncle (Kopa) who everyone thought was dead, had returned to the pridelands. At first everyone was happy. But now he was back, Kiara realised she won't be queen. She wasn't happy. Asali disliked Kopa for upsetting her mum. 
 

She often played with Timon and Pumbaa. They loved it too because it was like their carefree days with simba all over again. 
 

Asali heard Kopa telling kiara that she will still be queen because he had grown up away from the pride lands and hadn't learnt anything about ruling a kingdom. 
 

Asali was very close to her sister Niya. She was very supportive of Niya being future queen and knew she would be a good ruler because she handled responsibilities very well and was more mature than Asali. 

Kula and Chumvi had a grandson, the same age as Asali, They didn't get along at all as cubs. They were always fighting. 
 

One day when Asali was older, the weather was very hot and dry, A wildfire started, She got trapped in it. Her parents didn't realise she was there. 
 

Kula and chumvi's grandson was out that day too and heard her screams. They sounded familiar. Even though he hated her when he was a cub, He couldn't let her get killed by the fire. 
He rescued her.

Asali was surprised to find out that her rescuer was her cubhood enemy. She is very grateful and doesn't dislike him anymore. 
 

They start to get along better and eventually they became mates.
