Personality: Diego is a wild and adventurous cub who almost always does exactly the opposite as he's told; he loves breaking the rules and causing trouble, but in most cases he only does it to get attention from his parents. He can be really stubborn and hard headed, and has a habit of getting himself in trouble in which his parents or sisters have to bail him out from. Still, Diego is extremely loyal to those he cares about and loves his family more than anything in the world.

Likes: His family, Ella, Aryia, chasing things, pouncing on his father, playing, exploring.

Dislikes: Baths, rules, thunder storms, seeing his friends or family upset.

Story: Diego came as a completely surprise to his entire family, he was born very small and weak and it wasn't certain if he was going to make it. Yet against all odds, he made it through and grew into a healthy and playful cub who was loved by his family and the entire pride. He got along great with his older sisters, and followed them around a lot which sometimes annoyed them, but he had a particularly strong relationship with his father, since he was the only son of the family, he and Haki shared a really close bond and did all sorts of "guy things" together. Since he was the youngest, Diego felt a constant need to seek attention, so he got into all sorts of trouble in which his parents and sisters had to get him out from. His sister Uma had a daughter around his age, called Aryia, who he often played with and sometimes even dragged her along to his shenanigans. One day, a lion named Lindar arrived to the Pridelands with his daughter Ella, who was also around the same age as Diego and Aryia. Ella was very ill, but fortunately Rafiki was able to whip up a medicine just in time to cure her. When she was back to herself again, Diego and Aryia invited her to play with them, and the three became really good friends. Diego soon also noticed that Shani and Lindar got along rather well and spent a lot of time together, and just absolutely loved teasing his sister about it.
