Basic Information:

Djimon is an exiled member of the Pride Lands, Born sometime during Scars reign. He was taken into the "The Defenders of Legacy" By lioness named Goma, a all but disbanded group of warnder lions Loyal to the Royal bloodlines of the of various Prides. As an young adult he returns to offer his help to Simba when Zira leader of the Outsiders seems to threaten Simba's lands, he holds no grudge for it was Scar hwo exiled him, and swears his "wing" or in other worse loyalty to Simba. However he later sides with Kiara and Kovu to help stop war, after the princess comes to him asking for help. He watch her grow up and she see's him as "Uncle Dji" who could not say no.

After the war is over, he leaves to rejoin "The Guild of Defenders" the pride of which the defenders of legacy reside, when they aren't roaming the lands to protect the boarders of the Royal bloodlines.durring the events of the lion guard he plays small roles here and there but is otherwise busy with a problem within the Defenders. A rift in leadership between Goma's mate Mwenye, current leader of the Defenders, and former leader Kanu, has caused the group to be divided. Its ranks were already suffering, Djimon and Goma set out to figure out just why kanu has returned after so many ears and why. 

Meanwhile a Plague has spread across the land. Food is running low and many animals are coming up sick, its even seeped in some of the waterholes. Kanu puts aside his bitterness with the Mwenye and side with the Defenders to see what behind the Plague. Djimon ordered to watch Kanu and work with him, befriends the former leader, but as the plague gets worse and a new foe arises, Kanu seems more and more suspecious.

At some point he falls in love with Sera, a seer within The Defenders of Legacy and they become mates and have two cubs.

Appearence: Slim but tone, wide face, short furred cheeks. he has pale brownish fur, a black mane and tail with matching elbow tuffs. the furr on his hind legs heels is slightly shaggy. Djimon has dark blue eyes.

Personality: He is loyal, brave, aloof and a tad close minded.

• His mane is inspired by Aladdin
• His name means "One who has strong blood" in Swahili
• He shares a name with a famous actor Djimon Gaston Hounsou, of Benin, West Africa.
• He was inspired by the song "Spirit" by Beyonce from the lIve action "The Lion King" Movie.
• Djimon like many Defenders, can speak with anscestors of the Pride he is bound to, much like Simba communicated with Mufasa through the water and clouds.
• He looks suspiciously like Goma, it is said his mother had a sister who she'd never met.

Character Summary - Universal Relation:

In short, Djimon, Malka's cousin, was former pridelander, who was exiled and returned to be a royal guard for Simba and his family. He still protects them and their lands to this day from more a distance.
