Personality: Garnet is extremely shy and refuses to trust anyone until they have proven she can. There is no use in telling her that she can trust you because actions speak louder than words in her mind. It would take a brave course of action for her to trust you fully immediately, but if her life is in danger then she is willing to trust anyone who might be able to help. When she does trust you, though, Garnet is a sweet little girl that can do some crazy, funny stuff when she's comfortable with someone.

History: Garnet never knew her real parents. All she knew was that her mother died shortly after birth and her father left her for another girl. One rouge lion found her and took her in but for his own selfish reasons. He trained her every day and beat her often, trying to make her grow stronger, and he called her Garnet because of her eye colour. Garnet once heard him talking to himself when she was supposed to be asleep about how he couldn't wait until she was a teenager so that she could bear him lots of little cubs. Garnet did her best not to cry, he would have beaten her otherwise. Her captor was only using her for cubs and she would never be able to escape.

One day when the rouge attacked her a strange male lion came up. His fur was slightly lighter than her own and he had shocking green eyes. He fought the rouge off and offered Garnet a place to stay for a while. Garnet stayed close to the male's side, and eventually Jackson, the male, adopted her. He was the only lion Garnet trusted, and she hated strangers, since she didn't trust them, although she quite liked the sound of her father's brother, Gabriel. Garnet told Jackson her backstory and he promised to only tell Gabriel, his mother and Garnet's adopted mother if she got one.

One day when Garnet was by a river she saw a log floating towards her, and thought nothing of it. Then the log grabbed her. It wasn't a log at all. It was a crocodile.

Desperately, Garnet tried to free herself from it's terrible grasp but the crocodile dragged her under water and went into a death roll, tearing off chunks of her fur. Garnet was petrified, and she was running out of oxygen but the crocodile wouldn't let her come up for air. She eventually passed out.

Garnet woke up minutes earlier in a cave with Jackson's green eye staring down at her. He had leapt into the river and saved Garnet just after she passed out. The near-death experiance was too much fo Garnet and refused to go near water unless she knew it was safe.

One day Jackson ran into a strange lioness and they argued. Garnet watched from afar. Eventually they made it up and Narsa, the female, seemed to act strange around Jackson. Garnet knew that Narsa liked him, but didn't want her near him, since she was afraid that Narsa would take her father away from her and she would be alone again.

One day when the two left for home, since they were only visiting the pridelands, they saw Narsa, and she said that she was leaving. Jackson and Narsa talked for a bit and Garnet ran off, crying, ignoring her father's calls. Eventually she saw Gabriel coming after her and started to slow down but she didn't stop in time and tumbled off a cliff. She managed to grab onto a ledge with her claws but the rest of her body was dangling down, and a the cliff was very crumbly. Gabriel couldn't go after her. They could only wait.

After what seemed like forever Jackson and Narsa came into veiw and Narsa leapt down after her. Jackson had fainted in panic. Garnet mnaged to grab Narsa's paw and they climbed to the top of the cliff, where Jackson was waiting, quickly reviving from his faint. Narsa placed Garnet on the ledge but she was in a hurry so Garnet didn't get a good grip of the cliff. The edge crumbled away under her paws and Garnet found herself falling to her possible death with Narsa, her eyes widened, looking up at her father. Then she hit the water.

Desperately, Garnet tried to swim but there was a massive problem - she didn't know how to. And also, the crocodile incident had permanantely scarred her, her scar being a massive phobia of water. But Garnet had no choice, although her heart was pounding an every voice in her mind was saying, get out of the water!

She suddenly felt something grab her and screamed, thinking it was a crocodile. She then saw that it was in fact Narsa. Garnet clung desperately to her and as soon as she could scrambled out of the water to meet her father. Then she looked back at her saviour, and watched as Narsa stopped breathing. Jackson flung himself next to her and sobbed, while Garnet hung her head, thinking that it was her fault.

Suddenly she noticed Narsa was breathing again, and she saw Narsa rise to her feet. Jackson nuzzled her and admitted he loved her. Narsa had saved Garnet's life, and this was all she needed to be able to trust Narsa. She snuggled into her, a sign that meant that she was accepted as a mother. They decided to stay in the pridelands a bit longer.

Eventually Narsa started to teach Garnet how to hunt and they all moved to Garnet and Jackson's original cave in an abandoned territory to start their own pride. Narsa and Jackson even helped Garnet to slightly get over her fear of water so that she didn't have a heart attack at the water hole. Garnet was glad that she finally had a mother and a father. And, very very soon, she would be getting a sibling.
