Personality: Kali is a bit shy but opens up after a while. 

Likes: Kali likes to play with Sandro and she likes being around Reem and Hajari. It makes her feel safe and happy. 

Dislikes: Kali doesn't like rivers and water in general because she almost drowned as a young cub.

Relation: Kali was Saved by Kopa. Formerly lived in the Pridelands 

History: Kali wasn't wanted by her parents, they tell her that she was a mistake and that they would be better off without her. Kali was a Pridelander cub and her parents were lookouts. With Kali being so young, she had to go with her parents. 

One day, her parents came across a deep river, they crossed knowing that Kali wouldn't be able to cross with them. They kept going, abandoning her.

Upset and wanting her mother and father, Kali tryed to cross. She go about half way through when she got tired and couldn't swim anymore, Kali started to drown. Scared, Kali cryed out for her mother and father to help her, but they were already gone.

Kali was almost fully under when she felt someone pull her out of the river. She was saved by Kopa, who asked if she was alright and where her parents were. Kali bawled her eyes out as she told Kopa that her mother and father were mean to her and left her.

Kopa told Kali not to worry any more. That her parents can't hurt her anymore, because he was going to take her somewhere where she would be safe and wanted.

His kind words made Kali smile a bit. She nodded, agreeing to go with him. When they arrived, Kali saw a stranger, she hid behind kopa's front leg. Kopa explained that the stranger was his sister Reem, and that Reem wasn't going to hurt her. Kali came out from behind kopa and introduced herself to Reem, still a little shy.

Kopa explained how Kali's parents had abandoned her. Reem then looked at the young cub and lowered herself down to Kali with a warm smile. Reem introduced herself and told Kali that she could stay with her.

Things at the Sun pride didn't seem bad. Kali was with Reem all the time. There were other lionesses in the pride. Abelina, Keyrath, Njozi and Kayin. kali liked them a lot but, Reem was the first Adult female Kali has met who wasn't her mother. She felt more strongly towards her. 

Kali had gone to play but was suddenly chanced by a Hyena and cornered. Kali was terrified. She calledOfor Reem and Kopa over and over, face full of tears. That's when she saw a stranger coming towards her. 

 Hajari quickly reacted, running over to save the day. He fought the hyena easily (since it was just one oddly) and the Kali was able to escape freely.

Hajari made sure that Kali was okay and was carrying her home, when suddenly he was pinned backwards by a lioness and kali flew out his mouth and landed near by.

Reem told Kali to get Kopa. She was confused. He had saved her, so why was Reem being mean to him? Kali did as she was told. She found Kopa and explained what happened. Kopa calmed Reem and told her that Hajari could stay in the pride. 

Reem grumbled, not pleased with the idea. Then she padded away with Kali in her mouth. 

Reem was glad that Kali was safe but she still didn't trust Hajari. Reem and Kali were silent until they got home, Reem put Kali down.

"Why were you mean to him? He was nice" asked Kali. Reem sighed as she looked at the cub "I don't trust him and neither should you Kali" she said. "But he saved me?" Kali whispered

Half of her pride trusted him because he had saved Kali but other weren't as keen. Slowly, kali and Haraji became friends and the pride lightened up. Haraji was put as a guard because of his bravery. 

One day, there was a stranger talking to Reem with a cub who seemed to be Kali's age. The cub seems shy but polite. He introduced himself as Sandro. He really became eased up once he and Kali met That was when Sandro's shy side became more friendly and playful. He made sure to thank Reem for giving him a chance and the more he grew, the more he became protective and loyal to her and her brother Kopa.

One day Reem and Kopa had brought a new male to the Pride. His name was Jarvis and he was going to be another guard. 

Later on, Kali and Sandro very interested in learning who he is. Jarvis became the only lion in the pride who is very close to Sandro (except, his bestie Kali of course). He basically follows him anywhere, except when Jarvis has to return to his guard duties. Jarvis did not mind the cub's company and eventually, sooner or later, he accepted the little cub under his wing. 

Kali was very happy with her new family but because her parents abandoned her, she gets nightmares and her new pride abandoning her and drowning. She had a nightmare one night and Javis stayed with her until they both fell asleep. 

The next morning, Kali was first in the pride to wake up. She started to play, just being silly and not paying attention to her surroundings. Luckily, Kayln noticed the danger that Kali was running towards. She managed to stop the young cub just in time. Kali was grateful and Kayln walked with her back home. 

By this time, everyone was awake now. They all went on their daily routine of walking with Kali and Sandra around their territory so the cubs and remember where home is. 

One day, Kali and Sandro decided that they wanted to do something nice for Reem. Their idea was a hunt. Kali wanted to tell one adult, just in case something goes wrong. Sandro agreed and decided that they would tell Keyrath.

Keyrath told the cubs about all the safe places they could try to hunt. Where she would be able to see them in case they need her. Excited, Kali and Sandro ran off.

Whilst the two cubs were looking for something to hunt, they got distracted by some insects and ended up a little too far away from home.

"where are we?" Kali asked. "I don't know, but come look what I found" replys Sandro. Both cubs gasp. "This is the perfect place to hunt Sandro" said Kali. Sandro hesitates. "Hmm I don't know Kali, I can't see Keyrath anymore. What if we get in trouble?" We'll be okay, I promise Sandro. Please can we just look around for a bit? " asked Kali

Trusting his best friend wholeheartedly, he agreed.Sandro and Kali are finding something to hunt to give to Reem, but their curiosity seems to get them in trouble and there was a mud slide. luckily the pride lionesses were nearby to save them. It was a very messy moment. Kali was covered in mud the most and Keyrath admittedly gave her a bath.

Sandro stopped by to check on Kali and apologized for what happened, since it was his game idea to play close by the mud. "Hey Kali, I am so sorry for what happened. I didn't mean for your fur to get dirty!" He said, apologetic.

As much as Kali wanted to be angry at her best friend, she couldn't. But she did roll her eyes at him with annoyance. "It's fine Sandro...I just don't understand how you're not so covered in mud as I am! So not fair." Sandro laughed, "Because I am fast and able to dodge away before the mud could even reach me. I shook most of it off anyway. So no baths for me, haha!"

Kali frowned, feeling quite jealous. Keyrath continued grooming the little cub and said, "Hold still Kali, I am almost done then you are free to go."

When Keyrath was done, Kali decided to a once over just to make sure that the mud was gone. 

Sandro  was trying to plan a little sneak attack-pounce on Kali, but she heard him already coming from afar as he stepped on a loud stick. The little lioness cub was grooming her paw as she giggles at her friend." You've got to be more quieter than that to catch me off guard, Sandro!" she said. "Don't worry Kali! The day I will, the day you will be finally surprised." he replied, smirking.

Kali and Sandro had lots of adventures together. They had both become very good hunters. One day when Sandro and Kali were practice hunting each other, Sandro pinned Kali and she started to giggle. "Finally got me!"

"Huh?" Sandro says confused. "I got you lots of times". "No no, like when we were cubs" she says remembering that day well.

The entire pride knew that they liked each other but Kali and Sandro didn't seem to know the other liked them back. 

Seeing Kali so happy made Sandro realise that he liked her and more than a best friend way. Sandro wasn't sure how to tell her, he didn't want to ruin their friendship. He went to Jarvis for advice. Kali liked Sandro too.
