History 

Kelele was born during a war that was going on between Obler and another pride. His mother, Kelly was fighting despite others' warnings and protests since it could be dangerous for both her and her cub, and her time to give birth was nearing. Kelly did realize that her cub was coming, so she took the chance to escape from the battle field and reached the Pride Lands. She was tired and soon to give birth, and her adopted mother Kiara and the current queen of the Pride Lands was overjoyed by her visit and let her stay. Not long after joining the Pride Lands, Kelly gave birth to her son. She was overjoyed by her son's birth. He was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. 

The little cub was full of energy. He was louder than the other cubs of the Pride Lands, and though his loud cries woke everyone at night and during nap time, Kelly did not mind. To her, his shouts were like a melody. The king, Kovu, however was not pleased with this. Being raised in harsh conditions by a cruel maniac, it was obvious Kovu would be of a bit rude nature even if he was a good lion at heart. He wasn't very fond of cubs except his own ones, although Kelly was his adopted daughter he hadn't really nurtured her since her cubhood, and he wasn't particularly impressed with his adoptive grandson's loud nature. Because Kelly's son was so loud, he named it 'Kelele' which meant 'shout'. Kelly didn't mind, she had no ideas for names and Kelele also fit him perfectly. She liked to think that her son would grow up to be a strong lion who will have powerful roars and which is why she was fond of the name that meant 'shout'.

After a while, Kelly got well again and took Kelele back to the pride. Imammu, upon meeting his son, was overjoyed as well. Kelele began to grow up. He was a very playful and friendly lion, and everyone in the pride loved him. Everyone was fond of his kind nature, he always tried to take care of everyone arounf him and tried to help anyone in trouble, in his own ways. 

When he grew up, he joined 'The Auni', a group formed to guard and protect his pride, Isu Keeney. Being a kind and helping lion, Kelele swore to always protect his pride at any cost.
