BIO: Kienso's father, Troye, was very close to Simba. So close, in fact, that Simba insisted that Kienso should have the honour of joining the army. Troye, thrilled and proud, agreed. Kienso was the least violent lion around, so he hated the idea of joining the army. 

He didn't realise how serious his father was, until one night, whilst star gazing, Troye spoke to him. 'Listen to what I tell you my son, you know what you've gotta do? When you're standing in line boy, don't say goodbye. Go and make me proud, boy, fall to the ground for them. Kill for them, boy. Trust me, nbeing true, do it for the pride who love you. It will be fun.'

Kienso was shocked and sickened. Killing other innocent prides would be fun? 

But he had to make his father proud. Every day, he would be sent to training, then retrun home back to their den, where Simba and Troye would watch and listen to all that Kienso had learnt.

Kienso's mother didn't really say much, but just smiled and agree with his father.

Kienso grew older, and training grew more intense. Kienso had to bottle up all his feelings. His father grew more passionate. The more he kept inside, the more sadder he felt.

When he got kicked out of training, he didn't know how to tell his dad. He would be in so much trouble...

RELATION TO TLK: Father is close to Simba, and he used to play with Kiara.
