Basic Personality: Kisiri lives up to her name as she is both secretive and clever. However, while she is secretive about herself, she is very open to helping the pride that adopted her as an infant cub. Kisi is brave and bold when entering into conflicts or disputes. She has grown into a rather dignified lioness thus she rarely stoops to fighting dirty, unless all other options are exhausted. It should be noted that she is part of a pride that rejects the monarchy, and believes in total democracy. She is extremely loyal to her pride, and strives to work for their survival every day.

In depth Analysis: She could perhaps do with a little more wisdom and impulse control for her curious nature, but it will likely come with time. Living in the desert, she has grown quite clever in her adulthood, thus Kisi can usually figure her way out of a tight spot. For all her cleverness and dignity- Kisi finds herself feeling rather vindictive from time to time, but she will not sacrifice her own future for a slight against her in the past. She is extremely brave, especially when something threatens her pride. She will speak her mind about what she thinks is best for the pride, even more so as she has matured. She was raised to reject the monarchy and Simba’s familial rule, and lives life in a democratic pride. She believes in electing her own leaders; however she doesn’t aspire to be a leader due to her own personal conflicts. She used to want to find out who her true parents were- more than anything else. However, in adulthood she has grown satisfied with not knowing. She has also grown satisfied with life in the harsher desert environment.

Background Information:  The only part of Kisiri’s infancy that is known is she was born after Scar’s fall to Simba, just after the great split in Simba’s pride.  The wandering lioness who adopted Kisi said she found her in a cavern, not far from the pride lands. The lioness said she heard Kisi’s cries and came running, under the hopes it was her own cub she thought she’d lost to hyenas. Kisi’s attacker fled at the sight of the other lioness, leaving the two alone. The lioness judged the “attacker” was likely Kisi’s mother, and Kisi would now need a home. The little cub was named “Kisiri” for her mother’s attempt to eliminate her little secret.

Kisiri was raised in a pride made up of the “11 Infidels” or more notoriously “the cursed 11” and their families. Most of them were wanders that needed land to call their own; a few had even once belonged to the pride lands. Thus they carved out an existence in the desert bordering the Pridelands. These lions did not follow Mufasa, Scar or Simba’s rule. Instead they elected their own leaders, those that would best ensure their survival in the desert. This pride of outcasts soon grew to include their families as they guarded their land in the oasis they discovered. This is the environment Kisi was raised in; and it is harsh and unforgiving most of the time. But when the rains come the oasis blooms. Hunting also becomes easier as they wait for animals to come to drink.

Relation to TLK: -She makes an effort to avoid the pridelands, but the hunt takes her across borders very occasionally. Pridelanders are very aware of her pride’s existence- and their relationship to Simba’s pride is tense. Kisi doesn’t believe Pridelanders are evil; however she is unhappy with their attempts to spread monarchy across the lands. -She is biologically related to two (possibly former?) pridelanders. She also occasionally hears advice from figures in the stars. They have told her to seek out a Mandrill named Rafiki for “answers” However Kisi isn’t sure she wants any “answers” or to stray that deep into Pridelander territory. Kisi hasn't told anyone about these bizzare incidents.
