Personality: Lindar is an extremely nice guy full of positive enegry and has a habit of cheering others up when they're feeling down. Often times he focuses so much on helping others, that he forgets about himself and puts his own feelings aside, but it doesn't bother him,  he enjoys seeing someone's eyes light up and smile returning to their faces. He is a loving father and perhaps a bit too overprotective towards his only daughter, he doesn't let her go anywhere without shadowing behind her, but that's only because of what happened to his mate. 

Likes: His daughter, the Pridelands, Shani and her family, napping in the shade, taking walks.

Dislikes: Hyenas, crocodiles, water, seeing someone sad or upset, negative energy.

Story: Lindar was born as the only cub to two rogues who were seeking a pride to join in. Sadly though, he was separated from his parents in a stampede when he was in his late teens, and after searching for days without finding no sign of him, his parents had to assume that he was dead, and they abandoned the search and moved on. But Lindar had survived, by crawling into a small cave. He came out of the cave, and searched for his family, but to no avail, so, alone and lost, he wandered on the savannah, until he collapsed from exhaustion and dehydration. He was awoken with water being poured on his forehead, Lindar opened his eyes and saw the most beautiful lioness he'd ever seen in his life, smiling and holding an empty coconut shell in her mouth. She left, but quickly returned with more water for him to drink,  and he slowly regained his strength. The two soon fell in love, and started travelling together in search of a territory of their own. Then, the day came: Lindar's mate announced that she was excpeting his cub. Lindar had never felt happier, and took his future responsibilities very seriously. Finally, his mate gave birth to a beautiful and healthy girl, who they named Ella. Lindar was happy beyond words, he finally had a family of his own. But alas, that happiness was not to last. One day Lindar was out hunting and his mate was alone with Ella, when a group of hyenas attacked, trying to kill the cub. Her mother defended her but the hyenas soon outnumbered her, and she was critically wounded, just then Lindar arrived on the scene and fought the hyenas off. But it was too late, his mate's injuries were too severe, and she died later that night. Lindar was absolutely crushed over his loss, but at the same time he swore that he would never let any harm come to his daughter, who was now all he had left. Ella was in fact the only thing that kept him from sinking into a deep depression, and watching her play and pounce around always brought a smile on his face no matter how sad he was feeling. After they had travelled for a while, Ella caught a mysterious illness; she had a rather high fever and wasn't able to walk, and after a few days it seemed to get worse. Lindar was naturally very worried and didn't know what to do, so he lifted her to his back and searched for someone who could help, and soon found himself near the Pridelands borders. He left Ella to a small and safe cave, and promised he would be right back, once he'd found someone who knew how to help, and went on his way, but was soon attacked by a reddish brown lioness who pinned him down and growled, insisting to know who he was and what he was doing there. Lindar stammered that he meant no harm, and that he was only seeking help for his sick daughter, and the lioness got off him, asking him to take her to her. Lindar quickly returned to Ella, while the lioness introduced herself as Shani, and after she saw what the situation was, she told them to wait there, and went to fetch the Prideland's wise old shaman, Rafiki. Shani quickly returned with the baboon, who whipped up a medicine for the young cub which soon helped, and after about a week, she was back to herself again. Lindar was most grateful to both Shani and Rafiki, and soon got an audience with the king and queen, who allowed him and Ella to stay in the Pridelands if they wished. Lindar noticed that Ella had become friends with Shani's little brother and her niece, who were the same age as her, and he himself had discovered that he rather enjoyed Shani's company, so, they decided to settle in their new home.

Relation to TLK: His daughter was healed by Rafiki, and he becomes friends with Scar, Sarafina, Mufasa and Sarabi's granddaughter.
