Body: She is a  Light brown color, with an even light brown undercoat, she has a few darker spots on her legs, she has a head mask and rimmed ears and red eyes

Maidaan is a thoughtful lion she will often watch and think before replying, this annoys some but she would rather get things right then have to correct things later. She isn’t always correct; she just acts on what she thinks is best. The few times she's acted without thinking her brother has always been there to give a better idea, she hates when he does this.

Maidaan was born in the Pamoja pride along with her brother, she was a bit of a surprise to her parents, normally Pamoja pride are more flashing looking with pale manes and tails or spots but she was a nice brown color, sporting the hood that most pamoja pride members born into the pride had.

Maidaan enjoyed her cubhood, like other Pamoja pride members she got her name after meeting all the other members, she was named Maidaan for her plain coat. She spent alot of time playing with her brother , the two learnt how to climb trees early on and she and her brother spent a lot of time trying to get higher then each other.

 When she became a teenager she started to learn how to hunt, while her brother learned how to guard the pride, Maidaan was not a good hunter and started to hate being told she was to hunt with the other lionesses. One day she chose to follow her brother at training as she watched the others practice fighting and asked to join in, she wasn’t bad according to the lioness leading the training and soon it was requested she change her training. Maidaan enjoyed this training but she couldn’t help but see her brother wasn’t doing as well.

 When the pair became young adults they were given the offer that all pamoja pride members were given , to go travel for a time and come back if they so choose, the pair wanted to go explore nearby prides. As they started to leave the king stopped them and asked them to keep an eye out for his daughter Nirmala and if they saw her to let her know he hoped she would at least visit. They agreed to this and set off.

 Maidaan enjoyed the freedom , hunting was a little hard but they worked it out, Maidaan one day told her brother she wanted to find Nirmala before returning to the pride, her brother agreed and they started the search, it took some time and the pair found some nice small prides whose members recalled a lion of that name coming by , that was until one pride told them about the night pride,they said they didn’t know if Nirmala was at the night pride but they did take in another lion or so they had been told so the pair headed to the tree of life

 Maidaan and her brother were greeted by a male lion. He asked them who they were. Maidaan explained who they were and they just needed a place to rest. He agreed and led them to the tree on the way he explained the pride had just had a new king crowned and normally all the pride would have greeted them but the king and queen were seeing the king's family off along with the pride healer. Maidaan was impressed when she saw the tree of life, it was a much bigger tree then the ones at the pamoja pride land.

When the other night pride members returned to the tree a short time later Maidaan was excited to hear Nirmala's name and quickly told her about her father's message. Nirmala was grateful for it but said she could not leave the tree of life without a healer, Maidaan asked how many lions lived at the tree of life and was shocked to find it was only five of them, Maidaan without asking her brother offered to stay and be trained to heal, her brother spoke up saying Maidaan would be best to maybe help guard the tree and he could learn to heal.

Maidaan ended up loving it at the tree of life, she often patrolled on her own and soon learnt all the animals' names, She was happy as a member of the night pride and would go on to help look after Rani and Kions cubs.
