Pride of Origin: Jabali

Personality: Tumaini is a very timid but sweet character. He much prefers to hang around his mother or aunts and it is very rare for him to be found far away from them. He rarely speaks and has few friends in the other cubs his age. However, Tumaini is very very observant and often hears things he shouldn't which can frustrate many adults. Once you get past his timid exterior, he is a very loving person and cares deeply about everyone he calls friend or family.

History: Tumaini was born in the Pridelands despite his mother, Awiti, being a member of the Jabali Pride. He and his mother were accepted into the Pridelanders not too long after his birth and he grew up believing that he and his mother had always been Pridelanders.

However, things were not peaceful for long.

Soon, his mother's pride came looking for her and found them both in the Pridelands. His grandfather, his mother's father and leader of her former pride, demanded that they be returned to their pride or else he wouldn't hesitate to take them back by force. Apparently, their departure could be considered kidnapping by the Jabali Pride's standards.

Awiti refused to return and Tumaini was too young to understand what was truly going on. So, without another choice, the Jabali Pride declared war on the Pridelands.
