Personality: Ukufa is a very wise hyena. She's smart and understanding when someone needs advice, but she's also a strong, brave leader who wouldn't threat anyone lightly when they break the rules. She's not afraid to show her bad side to put someone in their place.

Likes/Dislikes: Ukufa cares deeply about her clan and tries to do everything for thier good, so she gets mad, when something or soemone is trying to hurt them in any way. She dislikes lions and other scavengers and predators for steaking hyenas food.

Story: Ukufa was born in a large hyena pack in Elephant Graveyard. Her clan often roamed the Pridelands in search for food and the lions woudl always chase them off. Ukufa was a promising young pup and when she grew up she became a fine warrior, often battling jackals, vultres and even lions who came to take their food away. A strong, young female quickly made her way to the top, becoming a very respected leader of the pack. She had many children and she did everything to protect her clan and ensure them a good life.

Ukufa was rather suprised when a young lion who wandered into Elephant Graveyard. A second-born prince from the Pride Rock needed hyenas to throw his brother off the throne, promising a support and good life to the clan. Ukufa was tired of constant battles with the lions and being overlooked as a worse kind of animal. She had a feeling that he wasn't fully honest with them, but she cautiously agreed to Scar's proposition also trying to make him feel loved and welcomed among the hyenas.

One day Ukufa's leg was caught in the poacher's trap. Tired of struggling to get away and the blood loss, Ukufa passed out. Suprisingly, she woke up somewhere in the plains, free from the trap, with bandaged hurting leg and a strange thing around her neck. Confused and tired, she slowly made her way back to her pack. As a loved leader, she was warmly welcomed back by everyone, bus since then, her condition wasn't as good as before. She had a crippled leg and wasn't as strong and fast as before. During her absence, leadership of the clan went to her oldest daughter - Shenzi, but Ukufa was still threated as a "true leader" because of her wisdom and experience, and it was her who was always asked for advice.

When Scar became a king of the Pridelands, they hyenas lived hapily and Ukufa became Scar's right hand when it came to managing both the huge hyena cland and lion pride. She advised Scar to get rid of all the male cubs, who were either chased away or killed by the hyenas. however the hyena way of living wasn't the best for lions, and Ukufa's ideas to steal food from other prides would have given Pridelands some trouble in the future.

When Scar blamed hyenas for all the miseries in the Pridelands, Ukufa get furious and she told the pack to kill their traitor. The hyenas were chased by the lions anyway and the large clan split up when running away. Ukufa's pack, led by Shenzi, left the Pridelands and they were never seen again.
