1. Remember previous news about Legacy Edition soundtrack?
Each album will also feature newly created artwork from Lorelay Bove, a visual development artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios (Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, Wreck-It Ralph). Here's an example of the artwork:
The two-disc album is available in pre-order now.

2. We know about new Lion King spin-off movie and series to be aired on Disney Channel in 2015, “The Lion Guard”.
The series will be about Kion, the son of the now-grown “Lion King” protagonist Simba, who assembles a group of animals to help him protect the jungle prideland as part of a group called the Lion Guard.
“It’s kind of like ‘The Lion King’ meets ‘The Avengers,’” said Disney Junior general manager Nancy Kanter.
The genesis of the series came from a meeting Ms. Kanter had with Disney chief executive Robert Iger two years ago, at which the CEO suggested the preschool channel consider producing content for the 20th anniversary of “The Lion King” in 2014.
Disney Junior plans to launch “The Lion Guard” with an hourlong movie in November of 2015, followed by regular episodes the following January.
