Name: Keanu

Species: Black Backed Jackal

Gender: Male

Likes: Heat, summer, small preys an easy food.

Dislikes: Hyenas, bullys, big animals.

Personality: Keanu is brave and adventurous. Is curios and funny. He�s very quiet so he go unnoticed most of the time especially to big animals, but this doesn�t bother him at the contrary its like an special hability to him. He's independient and very determinated.

History: Keanu was born in the east of Africa. He always was by his own like most of his kind, as soon he was old enough to defend himself.
One day he wandered far away from usually and found the pridelands.
Unlike other kingdoms he found out there was peace and justice a perfect balance for the pray and the hunter, he was impressed.
That kingdom had a King and his name was Mufasa. Keanu wondered by that place for a while and finally decided it was the right place to be.
The king had two cubs, little younger that Keanu: Simba and Latifah.
Usually Keanu sneaked on the tall grass to be near of the cubs, because he missed playing with someone of his own age.
One day he decided to introduce himself to both, he was a jackal so he was smaller but the cubs accepted him into his games and learned to slow down the rythm so Keanu wouldn't be hurt.
The time passed and one day Latifah became the leader of the lion guard. When she reunited her team she recommended Keanu as part of it, for the charge of "keenest of sight". He could sneak out easily and was always aware of what happened on the pridelands, so he would be perfect to detect any danger or intruder on the territory.
Keanu was flattered, he was vary far from his own family, and most of animals considered his kind like "inferior" but now, he could be part of something important for the first time ....
Sadly, this beautiful moment didn't last for long ... shortly after the lion guard was complete the king mysteriously died and Simba disappeared.
Latifah and her guard were trying to fight against Scar and the hyenas at first, but they didn't want to act the same way as Scar.
They realized this wasn't the time to fight, yet ...
That was a very dark time, the seasons passed, Latifah and her guard became older and on that time they continued preparing (in secret) for the day they would have to fight but they weren't sure when it would be. Their work on the pride meanwhile was the same as the others: search for food.

After many time and when the hope was almost lost, a mysterious lion came to challenge Scar ... it was Simba! The true king!
Latifah, Keanu and the rest of the guard knew this was the time they were waiting for, the acted fast and helped Simba to fight against the army of hyenas.
It was a tremendous victory, the peace was restored over the kingdom, and a era full of joy begun.
