I am extremely new to all this. I have 2 questions that I need answered.

What are renders?

What is the difference between Images and Fanart? They both look the same to me.

Please help I feel really dumb not knowing these things. Thank you in advance to anyone who helps me XD

Lunar, An image is one or more pictures from the movie. Some of them are renders. To render, you take a picture from the movie (not a fan art unless you're coloring in a line art) and put your own colors on the character(s) or whatever. And a fanart is a drawing. -TLKL

So to render you just basically take a picture and change the colors in it? With the artists permission of course. But in the images I see like characters that aren't the movie like Mheetu. How do they get them in the picture without drawing them?

Answer 1:Renders are images that are colored over. Answer 2:The difference between images,and Fanart is,images are not drawn,and Fanart is drawn. Yes,I hope that my info has helped you. -Celtic Kate
