scar never was a outlander, he just hated mufasa. most likely because he was king. although this has never been truly proven. as for his nose, thats most likely just genectics, as sandstorm said. hope this helps!

Scar was not Outlander, he lived in Pridelands with Mufasas pride. For some reasons he just hated Mufasa. I am not sure if he really hated everyone, but he most certainly had some grudges. One of them being because his brother was king and he was not. Which he became after Simbas escape. However after Scar died at the end of TLK, he was exiled. But he was not yet Outlander, because he never got to live long enough to become one. At least there is no indication of him surviving, considering he was in very bad shape when horde of angry hyenas attacked him.

Only his followers were exiled and became Outlanders, because they lived in Outlands. Reason for their exile was never really shown, other than Simbas hate for them. Since first move do not show Simbe exiling anyone, it is unknown if they were just loyal to Scar or if there was any bigger plot behind them. Also could be that Outlanders were there before, TLK 1 does not mention them, but it does not say they were not there. Might be that Zira just joined them as only exile from Pridelands for being loyal to Scar. Others could either be prohibited to enter Pridelands or exiles from before, exiled under Mufasas rule.

I don't think Scar was an Outlander, he just hung around there in the elephant graveyard.

Scar was Muffy's Brother. Muffy was the king of the pridelands.

Scar wasnt really an outlander he was just the prides loner, who hated everyone. if he was an outlander he would live in the outlands but we dont even know they exsit in the first movie. Scar does have a den on pride rock but he prefers to hang out in the elehant graveyard. Also he may have had an outlander nose but mabye thats just in his genectics.
