ok before i go and pull out half of my characters off the site, about 5 just got shut down for being ligers-tigers- or mixed breeds saying it was aganst the rules because that kind of breed isn't related to The Lion king or part of it's universe.

Now if i mark them as "this character is NOT related to the liong king" will they be ok then? However some of those mixes i made have a story involing the Main Lion characters...so tecnically they are related to the lion king....

 

and there are plenty of characters on the site that were not seen in the movie but are apart of africa in the fan characters secon that have been active for years, months or that are still really new, so why are mine different?

 

Also I could have sworn tigers did live in africa?

 

any clearnce on this? can some one help mei cam confused, or has anyone else ran into this problem?

Well, according to Wikipedia, they do not breed naturally. Quote: Ligers exist only in captivity because the habitats of the parental species do not overlap in the wild. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liger I must admit I did expect them to be allowed here. But it does have some justification, they do not happen naturally without human help. And as such they can not exist in TLK, since there are no humans in TLK universe. But still I think they should be allowed as fan chars, since they are big cats and stuff. And TLK also has few errors in proper habitats, if memory serves I read something about it and Timon and Pumbaa...

yes that is a huge gray area, XD i can see why you don't want to work in that area...it's to confusing. But if Steet says it's ok it should be ok since he founded the site....:/ i'm never going to get a straight answer for this apparently. but thank you Anubis.

I don't see why they would be deactivated. The character is half lion and half tiger. Of course lions are allowed on this source, I'm not so sure about tigers. Yes they are big cats as well. And it is possibly to breed them.

see that's where i am confused, that factor and the fact that my character whom was also in the list in my contest that specifically said a fiction breed in his bio, is still up :/ so like it seems messy and how am i supposed to know what to do with my other characters when there is such a large grey area?
