TLK 3D Review, October 23, 2011

So, today I'm going to review TLK 3D!

When I first heard of this movie being re-released in the cinema, I knew I just had to see it! After a while the date was announced and my mother and I began making plans about when [as in time] to see it.

We decided to see it at 8:40PM on the day of release, when we thought there would be less people... well, you gotta be wrong once in a while, don't you?

The cinema was full! But, we got good seats anyway, throughout the film I thought the 3D in it was excellent, and it wasn't just that random 3D you got with things like Alpha and Omega- mind you, that was also a great film!- you know, the 3D wasn't just at the start and then a few quick times throughout the film. What i thought was great, was that- of course- when TLK was originally released 3D didn't technically exsist [in cinemas] in TLK there was actually a clear difference between their eyes and their noses, for example.

The best moments of 3D were at the the start, when Zazu flys up to Pride Rock from the crowd. The rain, I thought was brilliant... there were tons more but I won't list them all now.

Believe it or not, the stampede wasn't one of things I really thought was good in 3D, the moment was just to fast to gather it all.

Another thing viewers may want to note is that the part in the stampede (otherwise known as Simba's "Nooooo" scene- don't ask why) where Simba's eyes were actually wrongly coloured, appearing green instead of orange, has been fixed.

The song 'Morning Report' surprisingly didn't feature, despite being promised.

The 'SEX' scene (or 'SFX' as Disney claimed) is still there, but you know, Subliminal frames are just that- frames. Something that flicks up in between the film not in the actual animation. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't work on myself, if it was ever supposed to.

The first time we went at the end everyone clapped at the end!

The second time, I tried to get the clap going- because the first time I was gonna then somebody else did- but, guess what? Nobody clapped, or at least, it was a tiny portion...

The second viewing, as well, someone who was very talented sang along to I Just Can't Wait To Be King!

Some people think that it's a waste of money, and in a way it is, however, it's a good waste of money!
