Personality- Drum is always very calm and collective, he always tries to lighten up the mood by smiling. He isn't as confident as his brother but still seeks for adventure. Although his past with men he always shows a friendly sign to anything new or interesting

History- Drum was born 1 hour after his older brother Mack , Drum and his brother would always spend all day adventuring with their two other friends in the herd, Nat and Midnight. When they were finally trusted by their parents enough the four of them would all go to the neighboring herd and play with their friend Spirit the same age as them. As they grew a little older they would meet up everyday and play in the woods or go galloping for miles.

As they became older into their teenage years Nat, Mack and Drum started to realise that Spirit and Midnight were starting to distance themselves from the group because of their lead jobs in their herds. Drum soon realised that Mack would prefere to spend his time on his own in the woods than with Nat or Drum so Drum decided to start preparing himself for the future, he got the job of night and morning herd gaurd. As Drum equired this job he started to get a lot more attention from some of the mares in the herd, uneducated by this Drum passed them by as just friends.  After a few months Nat had an idea to have one last game in the woods with every teen in the herd, they couldn't decide which game to play so decided to have a race from one end of the woods to the other Nat, Midnight, Drum and Mack were leading the race till Midnight dissapeared closely follwed by Nat. Drum, Mack and Spirit all stopped and quickly ran to were they last saw Midnight and Nat. Mack spotted them introuble and quickly signaled the others and ran toward Midnight and Nat. Mack soon realised that they were covered in ropes he ran over to Drum, Drum tried to push him out of the way of the ropes but soon realised they were both caught in ropes. They tried to fight the ropes but quickly gave up seeing him be outnumbered by men.

They walked for miles and slowly they stopped to try and break free, their souls were all broken. The further they travelled away from the herd the more their hopes dampened, one day when they were walking past a  forrest they were met by huge horses mounted by men. Drum saw his friends look up at the horses shocked at the size of them but Drum didn't even glimps at them he was to tired and weak to care. They soon turned around and instead of walking they started to trot. As they came to the edge of the forrest they saw a huge cavalry base. When they entered the base everyone paused and watched them walk to the pen. They're mains and tails were all cut and they were put into stables all together.

They had now been there for a couple days and Drums strenght had started to grow. Drum looked up to the sky to watch the birds passing but there was none today, everthing was surprisingly quiet till the gate swung open and more men ran outside to help the men at the gate. They were all intreged to find out what horse/horses was so strong they needed backup for till they saw, it was Spirit. Drum was so happy to see him and watched his three friends happiness glow, this was what they needed. This will be their escape.
